Bulb Replacement

Note: This vehicle uses a sealed beam type headlamp bulb which replaceable without special tools.

Wheels

Wheel Inspection

Look the wheels and cap nuts. Inspect them for evidence cap nut looseness. Rust streaks from the cap nut ball seat are indication looseness. Refer the Maintenance and Lubrication Manual for complete procedures concerning wheel inspection and wheel nut tightening.

Look for cracks around the hand hole, stud hole and wheel. Look for broken studs, wheel damage improperly seated lock rings.

Danger

T ires used multipiece rims must assembled and inflated only experienced, qualified personnel. T ires must inflated a safety cage whenever possible. If, however , a safety cage not available, use a portable lock - ring guard. The tire must deflated prior removal the tire - and - rim assembly from the vehicle. Remove the valve core ensure complete deflation.

Inflation Pressure

T o ensure maximum mileage and overall performance from your tires, essential that they operate the correct inflation pressure for the load carried.

Inflation pressure should checked daily while the tires are cold. Always use accurate tire pressure gauge. NEVER bleed air from a hot tire, will then underinflated. Refer the specific tire manufacturer ’ s data books, the vehicle certification label for a complete listing tire inflation pressures. For additional information concerning tire care, refer the Maintenance and Lubrication Manual .
