Diesel - power engines for heavy - duty trucks built after January 2010 e designed operate only with Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) fuel. Impr oper fuel use will r educe the efficiency and durability engines, permanently damage advanced emissions contr systems, r educe fuel economy and possibly event the vehicles running all. Manufactur warranties will voided impr oper fuel use. Additionally , burning Low Sulfur Diesel fuel (instead ULSD fuel) 2007 and later model year diesel - power cars, trucks and buses illegal and punishable with civil penalties.
