Idle Cooldown

This feature provides a means cooling down the engine and turbochar ger the idle cooldown option enabled using VCADS software and the system senses that the turbochar ger may the engine will not shut down when the vehicle the parking brake set and the ignition key turned the OFF This feature allows the driver lock the truck and walk away while still providing adequate All switched accessories will then turn f once the engine has this option the engine can shut down immediately cycling the ignition key pressing the shutdown override

The idle cooldown timer set minutes soon the engine load exceeds provided that the engine has been running least After the load drops below 25% (the lowest trigger 35% for 2 the timer begins counting the key switch turned f before the timer the engine will continue run until the timer reaches a pyrometer the idle cooldown function will use the pyrometer shutting the engine down when the temperature drops below 232°C (450°F), after 3.5 whichever comes

Fan Control

The ON/OFF fan clutch (when equipped) can controlled vehicle management and control - MAC) The following options for ON/OFF fan control are available and can programmed using the personal computer running VCADS software:

• Minimum fan time for high - freon pressure while vehicle parked

• Enable optional fan override with override switch while vehicle parked

• Enable optional fan override with override switch while vehicle moving

• Optional fan override time while vehicle moving

• Optional fan engagement while a power takeof f (PT engaged (not available for all software levels)

Both electronic viscous and HDMS fans provide constant variable fan speed for optimum cooling. The optional engagements and overrides available with the ON/OFF fan control are also available with the electronic viscous fan.

Fan Override Switch (Optional)
