Application Modes
WARNING
Depending on application mode the Generating set may have the ability to remote start, ensure before undertaking any maintenance or other work that this ability has been isolated.
Depending on the configured application the Generating set may be setup in a number of modes. It is important to recognise that depending on the mode of operation some of the features detailed in this manual may not be applicable (not-installed).
Standard operation
In standard operation the JCB Digital Control Panel t is configured to provide generator/engine monitoring and protection. The JCB Digital Control Panel has no control over the load acceptance or rejection. The generating set may be configured with two wire remote start and could start without warning.
ATP7 Operation
In ATP7 operating mode the JCB Digital Control Panel is setup to provide generator and engine monitoring/protection as in standard mode but also the JCB Digital Control Panel provides both AUTO and MANUAL control of the systems circuit breakers (MCB and GCB). In AUTO mode ATP 7 is designed to act as a slave module to the JCB Digital Control Panel allowing for loss of mains detection and subsequent startup and acceptance of mains load, return of healthy mains will cause a reversal with load being transferred back to mains and subsequent generating set shutdown (see AUTO mode). In manual mode switchover from mains - generating set and vice-versa can be achieved with the relevant soft keys (see MANUAL mode).
