6.7 Emergencyprocedures

6.7.1 Disconnectingthebattery

In event of emergency, e.g. in case of a cable fire, disconnect the battery from the vehicle network.

1. Flip open the cap.

ð The pole clamp comes off the minus pole.

2. Remove the pole clamp from the battery and place it aside.

6.7.2 Deactivatingthereversingprotection

The reversing protection protects the operator from being crushed between the machine and an obstacle during reverse travel.

If reversing protection is activated, the machine brakes to a standstill.

The travel lever is disengaged by the reversing protection, the machine cannot be moved forward or backward.

Prerequisites: n Reversing protection has been triggered. n The machine is at a standstill. n The travel lever is disengaged. ð Vibration is switched off after a short time.

1. Step aside from the machine, slightly lift the steering rod for this, if necessary.

2. Shift the vibration lever to position “0”, if necessary.

3. Set the throttle lever to “MIN” position (idle speed).

4. Shift the travel lever to neutral position. ð The travel lever is engaged again.
