Avoid High-Pressure Fluids

Inspect hydraulic hoses periodically – at least once per year – for leakage, kinking, cuts, cracks, abrasion, blisters, corrosion, exposed wire braid or any other signs of wear or damage.

Replace worn or damaged hose assemblies immediately with John Deere approved replacement parts.

Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin causing serious injury.

Avoid the hazard by relieving pressure before disconnecting hydraulic or other lines. Tighten all connections before applying pressure.

Search for leaks with a piece of cardboard. Protect hands and body from high-pressure fluids.

If an accident occurs, see a doctor immediately. Any fluid injected into the skin must be surgically removed within a few hours or gangrene may result. Doctors unfamiliar

with this type of injury should reference a knowledgeable medical source. Such information is available in English from Deere & Company Medical Department in Moline, Illinois, U.S.A., by calling 1-800-822-8262 or +1 309-748-5636.

Prepare Tractor and Loader for Service CAUTION: Lower loader to ground before working on machine.

Do not use supports that can crumble. Do not use a jack for support.

Install Accumulator Assembly 1. Pre-assemble the accumulator assembly. Attach shield (A) onto the control valve (H) using hardware (B, C, and G).

5. Install guide bracket (A) by sliding rod (B) out towards the left-hand side of the carrier. Insert rod (C) through bushing (D), then into the guide bracket (A) and secure using hex head cap screw (E) and lock nut (C).

6. Attach accumulator assembly (B) to the carrier plate (A) using cap screws (C). Tighten to specification.

IMPORTANT: Ensure decal adhesion. Before applying new decals, clean all dirt, grease, oil, and moisture, and decal remover (if used) from application area. Surface temperature must be greater than 15°C (60°F) for best adhesion.

NOTE: Perform these steps for decal installation: W27403 —UN—27APR16

1. Remove paper backing from new decal.

2. Align decal and press one edge of decal onto loader.

3. Smooth out air pockets across entire decal.

Ensure complete decal adhesion.

8. Install safety decal (A) in location as shown.

NOTE: Select correct language decal.

4. Pull off lines (B) from bracket in both sides as shown.

5. Move the lines as shown.

NOTE: You might loose other lines depending on the Loader model.

The purpose is to open an extra space to allow the harness to pass through.

6. Remove clamp (A), move the hoses to the bottom to make an extra space (B).

7. Insert a hose through top hose entrance (A) and route to the right-hand side access opening.

NOTE: It is important to push the hose through the boom by twisting it in circular motion this will avoid the hose to be stuck.

8. Attach the main harness onto the hose (as shown) and pull up through hose entrance, it is important to attach the harness as thin as possible so it can pass through the extra space made before.

11. Install harness connector (B) into the open port. Verify indexing ridge (D) is installed to align with the lower port. Retain connector with the cap screws (C).

12. Do not reconnect the multicoupler now.

11. Remove and retain two screws (A) and flip up the cover (B).
