13. Manual release of the tip valve

If the body is lifted and cannot be lowered by the tip control lever, i.e. hydraulic pressure has been lost, the tip valve may be manually released. 1. The bolt for manual release are to be found on the rear of the tip valve. The tip valve is located on the back of the cab on left hand side. 2. Before doing the following procedure, make sure to measure the length of the protruding bolt. 3. Screw in the bolt until the body is in the lowered position. 4. Then unscrew the bolt to its original length as measured on before hand.

CAUTION

It is very important for the function of the tip valve that the length of the protruding bolt is exactly the same after the procedure as it was before the procedure was carried out.
