Maintenance and lubrication chart LUBRICATION CHART Greasing wheel hubs Environment: Dispose of oil and grease according to regulations! Use only brand name lithium soap grease with a dropping point of 190°C to lubricate the wheel hub bearings. 5
• Lubricate wheel hub bearings every 50 working hours.
• The wheel hub bearings must be cleaned and repacked with new grease at least every six months or every 1000 hours of operation. Note: Excessive lubricant can cause deposits of hardened grease and damage the bearings. (Fig. 5)
END OF SEASON STORAGE 1. Clean dirt off the transport wagon. Clean off grease and dust from the exterior of all bearings. 2. Lubricate all lubrication points thoroughly until the grease comes out of the bearings . 3. Check transport wagon for wear and damage and have it repaired. 4. Clean rust off and repair paint damage. 5. Paint tyres with a protective paint to prevent the rubber from deteriorating. 6. Store transport wagon in a dry weatherproof space away from synthetic fertiliser.
