Pflücker-Regeltriebes für die Mähdrescher CLAAS LEXION

These Fitting Instructions show you the installation of the cutterbar or maize picker head variable speed drive for the CLAAS LEXION combine harvesters.

Cette notice de montage vous explique le montage d’un variateur de la barre de coupe ou du cueilleur maïs sur les moissonneuses batteuses CLAAS LEXION.

The numbering corresponds to the order of installation. The contents of the shipping package is listed on page 4.

Auf der linken Seite Schutzverkleidung (S) abnehmen.

Zylinderrohr nicht zu weit herausdrehen.

Zylinder entspannen, dazu wie folgt vorgehen: 1. Maß (X) ermitteln.

2. Kontermutter (K) lösen.

3. Zylinderrohr (R) bis auf das ermittelte Maß (X)

Switch off the engine and turn off the battery isolator switch!

Arrêter le moteur et activer le coupe-batterie!

Remove guard (S) on the left-hand side.

Retirer le carter de protection (S) sur le côté gauche.

Relieve spring-loaded cylinder (F) and remove power band belt (V).

Retier la courroie (V). Détendre le vérin à ressort (F).

Relieving the spring-loaded cylinder Take particular care when unscrewing spring guide tube (R).

Do not back off the spring guide tube too far.

Risk of injury!

Détendre le vérin à ressort Faire particulièrement attention lors du dévissage du tube cylindrique (R).

Relieve the spring-loaded cylinder as follows:

Pour détendre le ressort procéder comme suit:

1. Determine distance (X).

1. Prendre la mesure (X).

2. Desserrer le contre-écrou (K).

3. Visser en arrière le tube cylindrique (R) jusqu’à l’obtention de la mesure (X).

2. Loosen lock nut (K).

3. Back off spring guide tube (R) to the distance measured (X). At the same time, retighten lock nut (K) until washer (S) is up against bracket (H).

Anbau zurückdrehen. Dabei gleichzeitig die Mutter (K) nachspannen bis die Scheibe (S) am Halter (H) anliegt.

Der Bolzen (B) muß jetzt spannungsfrei sein.

Ggf. Zylinderrohr (R) und Mutter (K) geringfügig nachstellen 4. Bolzen (B) herausnehmen.

Schneidwerk-Antriebsriemen abnehmen. Dazu den Federzylinder (L) entspannen.

Zum Entspannen des Federzylinders die Arbeitsschritte 1 bis 3 wie Abb. 3 und 4 durchführen.

Federzylinder (E) für Wendetrommel-Antriebsriemen entspannen.

Dazu wie folgt vorgehen: Verletzungsgefahr!

Montagereihenfolge beachten!

1. Kontermutter (K) ganz zurückdrehen.

2. Zylinderrohr (R) hineindrehen bis der Bolzen (B) lose ist.

Keilriemen (C) abnehmen.

Spannrolle (N) komplett mit Halter abschrauben.

If necessary, adjust spring guide tube (R) and lock nut (K) slightly.

4. Remove pin (B).

Retendre en même temps l’écrou (K) jusqu’à ce que la bague (S) repose sur le support (H).

Maintenant le boulon (B) doit être sans tension.

Si nécessaire retendre un peu le tube (R) et l’écrou (K).

4. Retirer le boulon (B). (fig. 4 et 5)

Relieve spring-loaded cylinder (L) and remove the cutterbar drive belt.

Enlever la courroie de la commande de la barre de coupe.

Tendre le cylindre à ressort (L).

To relieve the spring-loaded cylinder, perform steps 1 to 3 as shown in Fig. 3 and 4.

Afin de détendre le cylindre à ressort suivre les points 1 à 3 ainsi que figure 3 et 4.

Proceed as follows:

Observe the specified sequence of operations!

1. Back off lock nut (K) completely.

1. Dévisser complètement le contre-écrou (K).

2. Screw in spring guide tube (R) until pin (B) is slack in the bore.

2. Visser le tube cylindrique (R) jusqu’à ce que le boulon soit desserré.

Remove V-belt (C).

Unbolt idler pulley (N) complete with bracket.

Retirer la courroie (C).

Dévisser le galet tendeur (N) complet avec support.

Anbau Wendetrommel ausbauen LEXION 480 bis Masch.-Nr. 466 00 487 LEXION 460 -- 405 Verbundkeilriemen (M) am Federzylinder (A) entspannen.

Dazu wie fogt vorgehen: 4. Maß (X) ermitteln.

5. Kontermutter (K) lösen.

6. Das Zylinderrohr (R) bis auf das ermittelte Maß (X) zurückdrehen. Dabei gleichzeitig die Mutter (K) nachspannen bis die Scheibe (S) am Halter (H) anliegt.

Der Bolzen (B) muß dann spannungsfrei sein.

Ggf. Zylinderrohr (R) und Mutter (K) etwas nachspannen.

Besondere Vorsicht beim Herausschrauben des Zylinderrohres (R).

Relieve power band belt (M) at spring-loaded cylinder (A).

Unlock the lock collar and unscrew in the opposite direction to the direction of rotation.

Unscrew the four hexagon head bolts M 12 x 35 from the bearing assembly (E).

Insert two bolts (B) as guides through the bearing assembly.

Drive the bearing assembly up against the machine side panel using a soft-headed hammer or similar tool.

--

Secure the bearing assaembly with four existing hexagon head bolts M 12 x 35.

The tightening torque of the bolts is 78 Nm. Do not lock the bearing assembly at this stage.

Unscrew bolts (A and B) again.
