These fitting instructions explain the procedure for installing the Corn Cracker to the CLAAS JAGUAR 900--830.

Das rechte Triebrad abschrauben.

Fold down the steps. Open door and fold up.

Stop the engine and switch off the battery isolator switch!

Jack up machine on the right-hand side and secure with a wheel chock.

Mettre la machine sur chandelle ou cric côté droit et la bloquer avec des cales.

Remove the right-hand drive wheel.

Dévisser la roue motrice droite.

Remove guards (S) and (T).

Lift roller housing (1) into machine through the opening using a suitable hoist and set on the guides in parallel.

Fit threaded plugs (1) instead of grease nipples.

Mount manifold (6) using hexagon bolts (4) and (5).

Connect lubrication lines to threaded plugs. Fasten lubrication lines with pipe clamp (2) and hexagon bolt (3).

Anbau Walzengehäuse (1) ausrichten: Ein geeignetes Werkzeug (Knarre mit 19 mm Stecknuss) auf das Sechskantstück (S) stecken und das Walzengehäuse (1) nach vorn in den Schacht fahren.

Dabei darauf achten, dass die Dichtungen links und rechts (siehe Pfeile) nicht beschädigt werden.

Das Walzengehäuse mittig zum Turm ausrichten.

Das Abdeckblech ausbauen: Hierfür zuerst die beiden Führungsschienen (F) abschrauben. Dann die vorderen Schrauben des Abdeckblechs nur lösen und die hinteren Schrauben herausschrauben.

Das Abdeckblech nach hinten herausziehen.

Die Zylinderschrauben (Z) wieder festschrauben, wobei der Zylinderkopf der Schraube drucklos an der seitlichen Führung anliegt.

Das Abdeckblech und die Führungsschienen wieder einbauen.

Aligner le carter du rouleau (1):

Apply a suitable tool (ratchet with 19 mm socket) on the hexagon-shaped piece (S) and move the roller housing (1) to the front inside the roller space.

Placer un outil approprié (clé à cliquet avec une douille de 19 mm) sur l’élément six pans (S) et amener le carter du rouleau (1) vers l’avant dans la cage.

Make sure not to damage the seals at the left-hand and right-hand side (see arrows).

Push the roller housing so that it is centred with the square tube.

Unscrew the two guide rails (F) first. Then just loosen the front bolts of the cover plate and unscrew the rear bolts.

Pull out the cover plate to the rear.

Tighten the cheese-head screws (Z) so that the screw head makes contact with the lateral guide without exerting any pressure.

Keilriemenscheibe (5) zur Keilriemenscheibe (A) am Walzengehäuse ausrichten und mit Stützscheiben (8) ausgleichen.

On machines equipped with a central lubrication system, connect the coupling (K).

First install the male connector (2) and then the lubricating line (3).

Finally, install the grease nipple (4).

Put V-belt pulley (5) on shaft end.

Align V-belt pulley (5) with V-belt pulley (A) on the roller housing and shim with supporting rings (8).

Anbau Keilriemenschreibe (5) mit Sechskantschraube (6) und Kappe (7) festschrauben.

Anzugdrehmoment = 195 Nm (Abb. 18)

Spannrollenhalter komplettieren: Spannrolle (11) mit Sechskantschraube (10) an Spannrollenhalter (9) anschrauben.

Drehrichtung der Spannrolle beachten (siehe Pfeil Abb. 20).

Zuerst Scheibe (12) auf die Welle (W) schieben.

Dann Spannrollenhalter komplett und zum Schluss Scheibe (12) nochmal aufschieben.

Alles mit einem Splint (13) sichern.

Tightening torque = 195 Nm

Making the jockey pulley bracket complete:

Assembler le support du galet tendeur:

Install jockey pulley (11) to jockey pulley bracket (9) using the hexagon bolt (10).

Observe direction of rotation of the jockey pulley (see arrow in figure 20).

First slide the washer (12) on the shaft (W). Then slide on complete jockey pulley bracket and then washer (12) once again.

Secure all above parts with a cotter pin (13).
