INTRODUCTION

Diese Anleitung zeigt Ihnen den Anbau des CLAAS 4-TRAC SYSTEMS an die CLAASMähdrescher DOMINATOR VX 108, DOMINATOR VX 98 und DOMINATOR VX 88.

These fitting instructions show the installation of the CLAAS 4-TRAC SYSTEM for the CLAAS DOMINATOR VX 108, DOMINATOR VX 98 and DOMINATOR VX 88 combines.

Cette notice sert à vous montrer le montage du Système CLAAS 4 - TRAC pour les moissonneuses-batteuses CLAAS DOMINATOR VX 108, DOMINATOR VX 98 et DOMINATOR VX 88.

Switch off the engine And turn off the battery Isolating switch!

Couper lemoteur et Déclencher l'interrupteurSéparateur batterie!

Support the combine securely at the rear on both sides.

Remove both rear axle wheels.

Lever par cric de façon sûre la machine à l’arrière sur les deux côtés.

Dévisser les deux roues de l’essieu directeur.

Unscrew the hydraulic hoses from the steering hydraulic cylinders.

Seal the hose ends and fittings with protective caps.

Dévisser les tuyaux flexibles hydrauliques des vérins hydrauliques de direction.

Collect the escaping hydraulic oil in a suitable container.

Fermer les extrémités des flexibles et les raccordements avec des capuchons de protection.

Récupérer dans un récipient l’huile hydraulique qui s’écoule!

Remove bracket from the axle pivot pin at the rear.

Dévisser le support à l’arrière du boulon d’essieu.

Anbau Lenkachse mit einem geeigneten, möglichst fahrbaren Hebegerät unterbauen.

Die Lenkachse etwas anheben, so daß der Bolzen entlastet ist.

Bolzen dann mit einer Leichtmetallwelle (Kupfer o. ä.) heraustreiben.

Lenkachse absenken und nach hinten wegfahren.

Lenktriebachse (1) mit Bolzen (2) einbauen.

Beim Einsetzen des Bolzens (2) Axialspiel an der Lenktriebachse (1) mit Scheiben (3) ausgleichen.

Die Lenktriebachse (1) muß an der BolzenAufhängung spielfrei eingebaut werden.

Distanzring (4) zusammen mit einer Scheibe aufschieben. Dann Kronenmutter (5) anziehen und mit Splint (6) sichern.

Fitting Instructions / Notice de montage Support the rear axle using a suitable, preferably mobile, hoist or jack.

Mettre en dessous de l’essieu directeur un appareil de levage approprié autant que possible mobile.

Raise the rear axle slightly so that the pivot pin is relieved.

Soulever quelque peu l’essieu directeur de manière que le boulon d’axe central soit déchargé.

The drive out the pivot pin using a light alloy (copper or similar material) tube.

Sortir ensuite le boulon d’axe central à l’aide d’un arbre en métal léger (cuivre ou analogue).

Lower the rear axle and move it away to the rear.

Descendre l’essieu directeur et l’écarter vers l’arrière.

Fit the hydrostatic driven rear axle (1) with pivot pin (2).

Monter l’essieu directeur (1) avec le boulon (2).

When inserting the pivot pin (2) use washers (3) to compensate for the axial backlash on the hydrostatic driven rear axle (1).

Lors du placement du boulon (2) veiller au bon jeu axial sur l’essieu directeur (1) à équilibrer par les rondelles (3).

Ensure that the hydrostatic driven rear axle (1) is fitted to the pivot pin suspension backlash free.

Monter l’essieu directeur (1) sur la suspension de boulon sans qu’il y ait un jeu.

Push on the spacer ring (4) together with a washer.

Then tighten the castellated nut (5) and secure with a split pin (6).

Pousser la bague (4) avec la rondelle. Puis serrer l’écrou (5) et bloquer par la goupille (6).

Secure the pivot pin (2) at the front using two hexagon bolts (7).

Anbau Lenktriebachse auf Arbeitsstellung umstellen: Die Lenktriebachse gegen Pendeln festsetzen.

Die Sechskantschrauben (N) herausschrauben und die Radantriebe in der unteren Stellung wieder anschrauben.

BEACHTEN! Die Sechskantschrauben (N) mit flüssiger Schraubensicherung (Loctite o. ä.) einsetzen.

Die Sechskantschrauben (N) gemäß Anzugsdrehmoment-Angaben anziehen.

Sechskantschraube M16 = 195 Nm Sechskantschraube M20 = 370 Nm (Abb. 11 und 12)

Die Halterung (H) in die untere Position versetzen.

Die vorhandenen beiden Hydraulikschläuche des Lenkzylinders an die Rohrleitungen anschrauben.

Placer l’essieu directeur à roues motrices en position de travail (B):

Secure the hydrostatic driven rear axle to prevent it from oscillating.

Fixer l’essieu directeur à roues motrices pour empêcher toute oscillation.

Remove hexagon bolts (N) and install the final drives again in the lower position.

Dévisser les vis à six pans (N) et revisser les entraînements des roues dans la position basse.

IMPORTANT! Insert hexagon bolts (N) with liquid bolt locking compound (Loctite or similar product).

ATTENTION! Insérer les vis à six pans (N) en utilisant du frein de vis liquide (Loctite ou équivalent).

Tighten hexagon bolts (N) to the prescribed torque.

Serrer les vis à six pans suivant les couples de serrage indiqué.

Hexagon bolt M16 = 195 Nm Vis à six pans M 16 = 195 Nm Hexagon bolt M20 = 370 Nm Vis à six pans M 20 = 370 Nm (Fig. 11 and 12) (Fig. 11 et 12)

Move bracket (H) into the lower position.

Placer le support (H) dans sa position inférieure.

Screw the two existing hydraulic hoses of the steering cylinder to the pipe lines.

Am Hydromotor die Flanscharmatur (F) abschrauben.

Einschraubstutzen (12), L-Stutzen (13) mit Reduzierstutzen und Mini-DKO-Messtutzen (14) nacheinander anschrauben.

Zwischenflansche (15) mit Sechskantschrauben (16) an der Pumpe und am Hydromotor zwischen den jeweiligen Flanscharmaturen anschrauben.

An der Pumpe den Einschraubstutzen (17) und den einstellbaren W-Stutzen (18) nacheinander am Zwischenflansch (15) anschrauben.

Am Hydromotor den Einschraubstutzen (17) am Zwischenflansch (15) anschrauben.

Die vorhandene Schlauchleitung (S) abschrauben.

L-Stutzen (19) zwischen vorhandenen L-Stutzen und W-Stutzen anschrauben. Schlauchleitung (S) wieder am L-Stutzen (19) anschrauben.

Schlauchleitungen (20), (21), (22) und (23) an die entsprechenden Stutzen anschrauben.

Zwei Rohrschellen (24) an die vorhandene Schlauchleitung (S) und an Schlauchleitung (22) mit Sechskantschraube (25) anschrauben.

Schlauchleitungen mit Kabelbinder (26) aneinander befestigen.

Remove the oil drain plug (B).

Dévisser la vis de vidange (B).

Collect the escaping hydraulic oil in a suitable container.

Récupérer l’huile hydraulique de vidange dans un récipient.

Unscrew the flange fittings (F) on the hydrostatic motor.

Visser la robinetterie à brides (F) sur le moteur hydraulique.

Remove the plug (V).

Dévisser le bouchon (V).

Screw on the male connector (12), L-connector (13) with reducing adaptor and mini DKO test connector (14) one after the other.

Visser le coude (12), le coude en L (13) avec le raccord réducteur et le coude de mesure mini DKO (14) l’un après l’autre.

Screw on intermediate flange (15) using hexagon bolts (16) to the pump and to the hydrostatic motor between the respective flange fittings.

Visser les brides intermédiaires (15) avec des vis à six pans (16) sur la pompe et sur le moteur hydraulique entre chaque robinetterie à bride.

Screw the male connector (17) and the adjustable elbow union (18) one after the other to the intermediate flange (15) on the pump.

Visser le coude (17) sur la pompe puis visser le coude réglable W (18) à la suite sur le bride intermédiaire (15).

Screw the male connector (17) to the intermediate flange (15) on the hydrostatic motor.

Visser le flexible existant (S). Visser le coude en L (19) entre le coude en L existant et le coude W. Revisser le flexible (S) sur le coude en L (19).

Unscrew the existing hose lines (S).

Screw on the L-connector (19) between the existing L-connector and elbow union. Refit hose line (S) to the L-connector (19).

Fit the hose lines (20), (21), (22) and (23) to the respective connectors.

Screw two pipe clamps (24) to the existing hose line (S) and to the hose line (22) using hexagon bolt (25).

Visser les flexibles (20), (21), (22) et (23) sur les coudes correspondants.

Visser deux manchons (24) sur les flexibles (S) existants puis visser sur le flexible (22) avec une vis à six pans (25).

Fixer les flexibles par des serre-câble (26).

Fasten hose lines together using cable bands (26).

Fitting Instructions / Notice de montage Bleeding the hydrostatic system 1. Hinge up the oil cooler: Unlock the oil cooler (K) at the quick release coupling (P), hinge up and hook into one of the spokes of the rotating radiator screen with hook (H).

2. Connect pressure gauges (0 – 600 bar) to ports M1 and M2.

8. When a pressure increase is observed, load the hydrostatic system in both directions as follows: – Move the ground speed control lever to forward travel until a high pressure of 50 – 150 bar is obtained. Hold the given pressure for roughly 1 minute.

– Move the ground speed control lever to reverse travel until a high pressure of 50 – 150 bar is obtained. Hold the given pressure for roughly 1 minute.

9. Switch off the engine and check the hydraulic oil level. Top up, if necessary.

8. En cas d’augmentation de pression, charger l’installation hydraulique de la manière suivante dans les deux directions: – Placer le levier d’avancement en marche avant jusqu’ ce qu’une pression de 50 – 150 bars soit atteinte. Maintenir cette pression pendant environ 1 minute.

– Placer le levier d’avancement en marche arrière jusqu’à ce qu’une pression de 50 – 150 bars soit atteinte. Maintenir cette pression pendant environ 1 minute.

10. Disengage the gear (move shift lever to neutral).

16. Fahrhebel ca. 2 Minuten auf Vorwärtsfahrt und anschließend ca. 2 Minuten auf Rückwärtsfahrt betätigen.

– Beide Lenkachsräder müssen sich drehen.

Der Hochdruck muß hierbei max. 150 bar betragen.

17. Motor stillsetzen und Hydraulikölstand kontrollieren ggf. Hydrauliköl nachfüllen.

Druckmeßeinrichtungen abnehmen und die Meßanschlüsse M1 und M2 dicht verschließen.

Lenkzylinder entlüften Lenkung bei laufendem Motor in beide Richtungen einige Male betätigen.

Set the wheels to run straight and check that the wheel rims are in a perfect condition.

Support the combine on blocks.

Monter et bloquer la machine

Measure the toe-in at the wheel rim flanges using a suitable measuring device.

Mesurer la prévoie au nez de jantes avec un appareil de mesure approprié.

Set the control dimension (Y) to 0 - 15 mm larger than control dimension (X).

Régler la mesure (Y) 0 à 15 mm plus gros que la mesure (X).

Set the toe-in by adjusting the track rod (S).

Effectuer le réglage de la prévoie par le réglage de la barre d’accouplement (S).

For this unscrew the castellated nut (B) and push the ball joint (C) out of the stub axle.

Subsequently, loosen clamp (D) and adjust the ball joint (C) accordingly.

Firmly tighten the ball joint (C) with the castellated nut (B) and secure with a split pin.

Tightening torque = 270 – 290 Nm

Die Lenkanschlagschrauben (L) auf beiden Seiten nach jeder Spurverstellung neu einstellen: 1. Maschine in der Mitte unter der Lenkachse mit einem Wagenheber anheben.

2. Lenkanschlagschrauben (L) auf beiden komplett hereinschrauben.

3. Lenkung jeweils zu einer Seite ganz einschlagen.

4. Lenkanschlagschrauben (L) so einstellen, daß der Anschlagschraubenkopf den Lenkachskörper leicht berührt.

Anschließend die Anschlagschrauben (L) um eine Umdrehung herausdrehen, so daß am Kolben des Lenkzylinders (L) noch eine Hubreserve von ca. 2,5 mm vorhanden ist.

Bei vollständig eingeschlagener Lenkung prüfen, ob die Räder am Maschinenrahmen anschlagen.

Hierfür ist die Achse auf der entsprechenden Seite hoch zu drücken.

Gegebenenfalls müssen die Lenkanschlagschrauben (L) soweit herausgedreht werden bis das Rad freigängig ist.

Resetting the steering stop screws (L) on both sides according to the track adjustment:

1. Use a jack to lift up the combine in the centre under the steering axle.

2. Completely screw in the steering stop bolts (L) on both sides.

2. Rentrer complètement en vissant les vis de butées de direction (L).

3. Turn the wheels as far as possible to one side.

4. Set the steering stop screws (L) so that the head of the steering stop screw just touches the steering axle body.

Subsequently, turn the steering stop screw (L) by one rotation so that there is a stroke reserve of approx. 2.5 mm at the piston of the steering cylinder (L).

With the wheels completely turned to one side check whether the wheels touch the combine frame. To do this push the axle up on the respective side.

It may be necessary to unscrew the steering stop screws (L) until the wheel can rotate freely.

Secure the steering stop screws (L) with the lock nut.
