BOOM SUPPORT ROPES

Boom support ropes stretch from the tri-structure to the boom point, holding the boom in proper alignment. Four spacers are used to maintain separation of the Boom Support Ropes.

BOOM CLUSTER IDENTIFICATION

Each structural member on the boom can be identified by a boom cluster identification. Numbers are painted on the boom structure. Each identification contains a letter code and number. The letter codes are listed below. Numbers increase from the boom foot pivot (location 1) to the boom point (location 30).
