OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Operation Raising and lowering the boom To raise the boom Ü pull control lever (88, Fig. 2-66:) backwards. To lower the boom Ü push control lever (88) forwards. To lower the boom with pressure Ü depress button (79) and Ü push control lever (88) forwards.
Extending and retracting the bucket or backhoe bucket stick

The superstructure is braked when control Lever (87, Fig. 2-66:) is shifted into the opposite direction (countering).
To brake a slewing movement to the right Ü shift control lever (87) to the left.
To brake a slewing movement to the left
To extend the stick Ü push control lever (87) forwards. To retract the stick Ü pull control lever (87) backwards.
Filling and emptying the bucket or the backhoe To fill/tip back the bucket Ü shift control lever (88) to the left.
Ü shift control lever (87) to the right.
To empty the bucket by dumping/tipping
Working
Ü shift control lever (88) to the right.
When released, all control levers for working operation return automatically to position "0".
Opening and closing the bottom-dump bucket
Level a surface only in the bucket's digging direction. Never "beat" or "sweep" with the bucket.
To open the bucket Ü press pedal (83) forwards. To close the bucket
Loading bucket: Close bucket completely before beginning to dig. Do not level off a surface with the front shell of the bucket open.
Ü press pedal (83) backwards.
Working in particular conditions Turn potentiometer (71, Fig. 2-66:) clockwise until the maximum required working speed of the equipment (boom, stick, bucket or backhoe bukket).
