Opening the block-type connector:
Drive out the roll pin(s). Push the block connector halves in the direction of the arrows.
The block connector is open.
Closing the block connector:
Push the block connector halves together opposite the direction of the arrow. Drive in the roll pin(s).
The block connector is closed.
Flat-type connector
The flat-type connector can be installed in horizontal and vertical position.
Please keep in mind that dimension b of the flat-type connectors is larger than dimension b of the respective round steel link chain according to DIN 22252. Therefore, make sure to check the passage dimension of vertically installed flat-type connectors, e.g. in the bottom race of the conveyor.
Also observe the position of the chain link in the flight. Flat-type connectors are not allowed to be installed vertically in conveyors with flat link chains according to DIN 22255.
