Consult your CASE Dealer to adjust the pressure and the flow necessary for using the optional accessory correctly. NOTE: When starting the engine, the articulated boom control is selected automatically.

CT04D009 1. Press the red key (1); the LED's (2) and (3) light up. IMPORTANT: When the hammer or high flow configurations are activated, it is not possible to use the boom articulation function. To return to the articulated boom configuration, press key (1) again; the LED (4) lights up and vice versa.
CT04D010 2. Make sure that the valve located at the foot of the boom (to the right of the operator) is in the right position (open), a decal shows the position of the valve in accordance with the configuration. See "Decals" in the "Safety/Decals/Hand signals" section.
CD00E012 3. Use the pedal to start the hammer. See "Articulated boom control pedal" in the "Controls/Instruments/Accessories" section.

High flow configuration

CT04D009 1. Press the red key (1) until the LED (2) lights up (about 3 seconds). NOTE: The 3 second validation occurs the first time that the operator wants to change to high flow configuration. Afterwards, pressing the key (1) is sufficient. IMPORTANT: When the hammer or high flow is activated, it is not possible to the use the articulated boom function. To return to the articulated boom configuration, press the key (1) again; the LED (4) lights up and vice versa.

CT04D010 2. Make sure that the valve located at the foot of the boom (to the right of the operator) is in the correct position (closed); a decal shows the position of the valve depending on the configuration. See "Decals" in the "Safety/Decals/Hand signals" section.
CD00E012 3. Use the pedal to start the high flow hydraulic function. IMPORTANT: You have to pass through the articulated boom configuration to change from the hammer configuration to the high flow configuration and vice versa.

LOCKING THE LONG REACH ATTACHMENT FOR TRANSPORT (CX210LR and CX240LR)
When transporting the machine complete with its attachment, it is essential to install the locking strut (1).

4. Operate the dipper to align the holes of the support with those of the locking strut and install the pin and its retaining pin. 5. Lower the attachment to the ground. IMPORTANT: Never lower the attachment to the ground in this position without first having installed the locking strut. IMPORTANT: When not being used for transport purposes the locking strut must be properly fixed to the boom with the pins and retaining pins provided.

CS01M504 1. Retract the dipper as far as possible and then lower the boom, without lowering the attachment completely to the ground. 2. Remove the retaining pin and pin (2) from the locking strut, holding the latter to prevent it from falling. 3. Swing the locking strut downwards until it engages in the support (3) on the dipper.

By rail
Since transport by rail is subject to special regulations, consult an approved organization.
On a trailer
WARNING: This machine could slip and fall from a trailer or ramp and cause serious injury. Make sure the trailer and ramps are clean. The machine should be in line with the trailer before being loaded.
WARNING: It is mandatory to remove the counterweight before undertaking any travel without the attachment or transporting the machine without the attachment.

Make sure you know the safety rules and regulations before transporting the machine. Make sure both trailer and machine are fitted with the right safety equipment.
Loading

CD95M248 1. Place a block behing the trailer wheels. Install the trailer side extensions (if fitted).
