CD00H004 9. Make sure you can see that the bucket pin is correctly engaged in the latching hook.

Removal

CD00F033 1. Operate the dipper and bucket controls so that the dipper is practically vertical, sloping slightly towards the cab to release the safety device. Extend the bucket cylinder rod completely and maintain the hydraulic pressure so that the latching hook retracts.

CD00F032 10.Operate the bucket control to retract the cylinder rod and allow the safety device to engage. IMPORTANT: If it is not possible to make a visual check sitting in the operator’s seat, get down from the machine and make sure that the tool is correctly connected with the safety device engaged. 1

CD00H001 2. Place the switch (1) in unlocking position. The audible alarm device will sound. See “Quick coupler locking and unlocking control switch” in the “Controls/Instruments/Accessories” Section.
