1. KEY SWITCH - The key switch has four positions: ACC, OFF, ON and START. NOTE: See Starting the Engine, page 56 in this manual for the correct procedure to start the engine. a. Accessory - T h i s position energizes the horn and light circuits. BS98M031

b. Off- Turn the key to this position to stop the engine and deenergize the electrical system. BS99F076
c. On - T h i s p o s i t i o n energizes the electrical system and is the normal position of the key when the engine is running.
d. Start - Turn the key to this position to actuate the starter motor to start the engine. BS99F077
