FORWARD
The purpose of this manual is to familiarize the owner or operator with the care, operation, and maintenance of the REED ROTARY DRILL. The information is presented as clearly as possible, giving the important duties that the owner or operator must perform to insure long, satisfactory service.
We urge the operator to pay very close attention to the lubrication of this unit and to the maintenance of the hydraulic system as set forth herein. Although long life and dependability are built into the new REED ROTARY DRILL, satisfactory performance dependes upon the intelligent maintenance and a thorough understanding of the parts that make the complete unit. Before maintenance operations are attempted, a thorough study of this manual is recommended.
