 Ifthebatteryelectrolytecontactsskinorclothing,washimmediately withsoapandwater.Iftheelectrolyteenterstheeye,immediately floodtheeyewithrunningcoldwaterforatleastten(10)minutes andgetmedicalattentionimmediately

 Neversmokeorallowasparkorflameinvicinityofabattery

 Avoiddroppingmetaltoolsontoabattery. Theymay sparkorshort circuitthebatteryorotherelectrical partsthatcouldcausean explosion

 Removepersonalmetalitemssuchasrings,bracelets,necklaces, andwatcheswhenworkingwithabattery.Abatterycanproducea shortcircuitcurrenthigh enoughtoweldaringortheliketometal, causingasevereburn

 Neverchargeafrozenbattery

 Ifitisnecessarytoremovethebatteryconnections,alwaysremove thegroundedterminalfromthebatteryfirst.Makesureallloadsare disconnectedandunitisoff,soasnottocauseanarc

 Besuretheareaaroundthebatteryiswellventilatedwhilethe batteryisbeingcharged

 Whencleaningbatteryterminals,becarefultokeepcorrosionfrom comingincontactwiththeeyes
