2 Safety

TRAINING MANUAL SAFETY

The EIMCO DASH 3 Continuous Miner, is an electrically powered machine. Before operating the machine for the first time, all personnel who are involved in the operation of the machine must be fully trained on the systems incorporated on the machine. Ensure all personnel are trained in the safety requirements of operating the EIMCO DASH 3 Continuous Miner.

This EIMCO DASH 3 Continuous Miner is a radio remote controlled Miner. Only fully trained personnel may operate the machine. Only personnel operating the machine must be at or near the machine while the machine is operating. Any person wishing to enter the area of the operating machine must do so in accordance with site safety procedures governing such activities.

Before using the remote control system for the first time, you must read and understand the operating instructions carefully.
