Description The L50F wheel loader has central articulated frame steering and four-wheel drive. The lifting frame is equipped with a hydraulic quick-change attachment bracket. TP-kinematics with double-acting lift cylinders provide high breakout force and exact parallel guidance when lifting. The D5D engine is a water-cooled, 4-cylinder, 4-stroke, in-line diesel engine with direct injection, exhaust turbocharger, intercooler and internal, unregulated exhaust gas recirculation. The stepless hydrostatic transmission allows gear changes under load, both direction changes (forwards and reverse) and in all speed gears. The front and rear axles are planetary rigid axles with 100% hydraulically engageable differential lock in both axles. The rear axle has an oscillating suspension. The pendulum bearings are lubricated with axle oil. The service brake of SN 197 (low-speed vehicle) is a single-circuit brake system with one pressure accumulator that is actuated via the inching brake pedal. The rear axle has a hydraulically operated oil-bath disc brake. The service brake of SN 197 (high-speed vehicle) is a dual-circuit brake system with two pressure accumulators that is actuated via the inching brake pedal. The front and rear axles have hydraulically operated oil-bath disc brakes. The parking brake is a disc brake that acts on the front axle wheels upon mechanical engagement. The hydraulic system is a demand-controlled load-sensing hydraulic system. Thermostatically controlled oil circuit with integrated cooling system and regulated cooling fan. Servo-controlled, double-acting, three-way control block with primary and secondary protection.
