Validity
GMK 4075
Continuous switching for the crane’s hydraulic system
This supplement applies to all GMK 4075 truck cranes starting from serial number 9203, and to all GMK 4075 truck cranes which were retrospectively equipped for continuous switching of the crane hydraulic system.
Reasons for this additional information
The function of one of the rocker switches which is described in the operating instructions supplied is different for the GMK 4075 truck cranes listed above; in addition, there is one less indicator light on these cranes.
Changes
The operating and display elements affected are located in the driver’s cab, on the side instrument panel, in Insert 1.
Rocker switch for driving mode/crane operation
The rocker switch Driving mode/Crane operation (2) can no longer be used for switching the pumps of the crane’s hydraulic system, since these are in continuous operation.
Switching to the position Crane operation (pressed down) will only instigate the electrical switchover of the operating elements fordriving functions in the crane cab.
In the position Crane operation, the indicator lamp in the rocker switch (2) lights up.

There is no Crane operation indicator lamp (1).

These operating instructions are intended only for the truck crane with the serial number specified on the front cover.

The following plates and numbers have been fitted to the truck crane for identification:
1 the superstructure name plate at the front of the crane operator's cab, containing the serial number and the description of the crane model,
2 the CE mark on the name plate (only with truck cranes that are delivered to member countries of the EU),
3 the chassis number at the front right above the first axle line, in the web plate of the frame,
4 the chassis name plate, on the console of the passenger seat with the chassis number, the crane type designation and the closing number for the ignition lock and the driver's cab doors.
The location of the identification numbers on removable rigging parts (e.g. counterweights, lattice extension) is described in the corresponding chapters or in the supplied specific operating instructions.

1.2 EC Declaration of Conformity
This declaration of conformity is a supplement to the delivery protocol given to the operator upon delivery of the truck crane (only with truck cranes that are delivered to states of the EC).
