Messageconvention
Thecontrolsystemwillissuesystemhalt,machinestatus,warning,andfault messages.
Systemhaltmessage
Asystemhaltmessageappearswhenaconditionoccursthatpreventscontinuedoperationofthemachineinasafemanner.Themessagewillbedisplayed inthemiddleofthescreenandcannotbecleared.Thepowertothecontrol systemmustberecycledbeforethemachinecanbeoperated.
Statusmessage
Astatusmessageisashorttextdescriptionofaneventorfunctionthatiscurrentlyactive.Statusmessagesarenotusedtoindicatedanyfaultorwarning conditionandarenotnumbered.Themessageisnormallyonlydisplayedon themainpageofthegraphicsdisplayscreen.Statusmessagesarelistedin Table1.
Errormessage
Anerrormessageindicatesawarningconditionthatiscurrentlyactivebutdoes notnecessarilyshutdownthemachine.Thesemessagesaresetandcleared bythecontrolsysteminrealtimebutareloggedinthecontrolsystemfaultlog. Duringnormaloperations,errormessagesarenormallyonlydisplayedonthe mainpageofthegraphicsdisplayscreen.Errormessagesarenumberless than300.ErrormessagesarelistedinTable2.
Faultmessage
Afaultmessageindicatesaconditionthateithercausesamotororfunctionto shutdownorpreventsamotororfunctionfromstarting.Faultmessagesoccur inapop-upwindowovertheactivescreenandmustbeclearedbytheoperator. FaultmessagesarelistedinTable3.
ThereisanAutoFaultClearoptioninthemenuthatissettoYESorNO (defaultisYES).WhensettoYES,thenextkeystrokeontheradioremote clearsthefaultmessage.WhensettoNO,theoperatormustusetheSHIFT andRESUMEkeysontheradioremotetoclearthefault.
Thelastfaultofthepowerupsession,evenifcleared,isdisplayedinredtextin thestatusboxonthemainscreen.Faultmessagesareloggedinthecontrol systemfaultlogandarenumbergreaterthan300.
