Thischapterprovidesvitalinformationforyoursafety.Payspecial attentiontothischapter.Thesafetyinstructionsandrulesofprocedurewillhelpyoutoavoidhazardoussituationsandtoperformthe necessaryworkassafelyaspossible.

Theshieldsupportwasmanufacturedinaccordancewithstateof theartandgenerallyrecognizedsafetystandardsandregulations. However,aresidualriskstillexistswhichmayinvolveyougetting intohazardoussituationswhenworkingwithorontheshields. Thesemay,forexample,becausedbyunforeseeableexternalinfluences,machinedamageoroperatingerrors.

Inadditiontothisoperatingmanual,alsobesuretoobservethe respectivelegalprovisionsandregulationsforaccidentprevention inyourcountry.

Thetrainingmustbespeciallytailoredtothetypeofshieldactually beingused.

Theelectrohydraulicandhydrauliccontrolsystemsmayonlybe operatedonlybypersonnelwhohavebeenadequatelytrainedto operatethepresentcontrol system.

Thecontentoftheoperatingmanual,especiallythechapteron safety,mustconstituteapartofthistraining.

Theymustpossessandfurnishproofofadequatefamiliaritywith the
