ADANGER:
THISMANUALPROVIDES INFORMATION AND DATA FORTHEMAINTENANCEAND OPERATION OFTHIS MACHINE. ALL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT MUST BE SERVICED BY QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE BEEN PROPERLY TRAINED TOWORK WITH HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEMS, AND/ORVARIABLE FREQUENCY ACDRIVES. FAILURE TOCOMPLYCOULD RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.

ADANGER:
DO NOTATTEMPT MECHANICAL ORELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ONTHIS MACHINE WITHOUTA FULL UNDERSTANDING OFEACHCOMPONENT'SOPERATIONAND FUNCTION. COMPONENTS UTILIZING ELECTRICALPOWER,AIR PRESSURE, HYDRAULIC PRESSURE ANDCOMPRESSIONORTENSIONSPRINGSFOR OPERATION MUST BE DEACTIVATED AND ISOLATED PRIOR TO DISASSEMBLY.
TheFEEDER CABLE mustcontainaprovisionforagroundconnection, especially whenever 2,300 volts or greater are used. At the substation, the power line must terminate (see paragraph on ground circuits) to a suitable permanent ground. At the machine, the power line must securely terminate through a bolted connection tothe machine frame. This provides a constant ground for themachineandits electrical equipment. Failure to provide this adequate ground endangers employees and equipment.
THENEEDFORAPOWER LINE GROUNDING CIRCUIT ADEQUATE FORTHE MACHINE CANNOT BE OVEREMPHASIZED. Without agood grounding system, high voltagesexistbetween the machine andthe ground. The portable trail cableand power lines supplying electric energy to the machine musthavea ground wire, ample in capacity, running parallel tothe main wiresover theentire distance fromthe transformer tothemachine.A suitable grounding system mustbe usedatthetransformer.Consultyourlocalelectricalsupplierfordetails. A DANGER:
DUETOTHE INHERENT DANGERS INTHE OPERATION OFHIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT, ASAFEGROUNDING SYSTEM ISREQUIREDTHAT INCLUDES GROUND CONDUCTORS IN THE CABLE, A NEUTRAL GROUNDING RESISTOR, AND RELATED RELAYS AND SWITCHGEAR. A GROUND CONTINUITY CHECK SYSTEM IS ALSO RECOMMENDED.
