5. Be sure the operator's and helper's area is clear of oil, ice and loose obJects. to keep area clean may result in personal inJury.

10. DO NOT disconnect or revise any safety devices on the drill.
11. Safety glasses, hard hats and steel-toed shoes MUST be·worn when operating or servicing the rotary drill.
12. NEVER operate the rotary drill with safety guards, shields or screens removed.

4. ALL persons should be clear of the drill table area during activation of any system.

16. The hydraulic tank is under air and MUST be vented by hand before any type of maintenance.
17. RELIEVE air pressure befor._moving or repairing any compressor par't s.
18. Hydraulic relief valves, control valves, etc., are for your protection. · DO NOT reset pressure higher than factory setting.
19. DO NOT add fuel, hydraulic oil, compressor oil, water, grease or ·lubrication to any fittings or components while machine is irr opet'at ic•rr.
20. DO NOT service any parts while machine is in operation.
21. Observe and keep clean all NAMEPLATES, DECALS and WARNING NOTICES located on the drill.

22. DO NOT use flammable solvents when parts.
23. NEVER use gasoline, kerosene or crankcase.oil to clean the filter elements on the comQressor or power unit intake cleaner. Fumes these fluids are highly when compt'essed.
24. The rotary drill MUST ALWAYS be level on Jacks drilling and raising or lowering the mast.
25. The rotary drill MUST have the tires or crawlers COMPLETELY off the ground when the drill is leveled for operation to pr'event a "LIFT-OFF" and possible

26. DO NOT attempt to drill with machine on· unstable ground or on a slope that exceeds the leveling capacity of the Jacks.
27. DO NOT move the drill over abnormally rough terrain with mast r'aised.
28. DO NOT raise mast in PROXIMITY of power or telephone lines.
29. CARE should be taken when using the winch. Stay CLEAR of the cable and any items attached to cable safety hook.
30. DO NOT store flammable supplies under the drill.
31. ALWAYS remove the negative lead from the battery before servicing. Keep. tools and metal 8WAY from the cranking motor. starting may occur if terminals are bridged. Ace i d er,t a 1
33. Keep battery covers CLOSED to prevent accidental shorting of
34. ALWAYS remove the negative terminal FIRST and connect it last wher, cor.r.ectir•g the batte:lry.
35. When using a JUmping aid for starting, connect positive terminals FIRST. Connect the negative JUmpers to the frame •:•f b•:)th units.
36. LOOSEN battery filler caps before using Jumpers.
37. NEVER wear a ring wristwatch while on the electrical system.
38.. DO NOT attempt to service a battery unless you are thoroughly with the precautions that must be taken.

1. Operating near POWER TRANSMISSION LINES can cause.INJURY or LOSS OF LIFE. DO NOT operate drill wtthin close proximity of POWER TRANSMISSION LINES. Consult. local electric company for safe operating distance from power transmission lines.
