Me llamo Ruth, tengo 29 años y he finalizado el Ciclo de grado superior de Administración y Finanzas en La Salle Berrozpe Ikastetxea de Andoain. Como todos sabemos, la parte final de cualquier Formación Profesional es realizar prácticas en una empresa durante alrededor de tres meses.
My name is Ruth, I am 29 years old and I have completed my higher level vocational training in Administration and Finance at La Salle Berrozpe Ikastetxea school in Andoain. As we all know, the final part of any vocational training is a three-month work placement in a company.
La Salle Berrozpe Ikastetxean praktikak atzerrian egiteko aukeraren berri eman ziguten. Ingeles maila hobetu eta bidaiatzeko aukera ona iruditu zitzaidan. Gerora, Europako hiru herrialde aukeratu behar izan nituen: Finlandia, Ingalaterra eta Irlanda. Hilabete batzuk igaro ondoren jakinarazi zidaten praktikak Irlandan egingo nituela.
En La Salle Berrozpe Ikastetxea nos plantearon la posibilidad de realizar prácticas en el extranjero. A mí me pareció una buena oportunidad para mejorar mi inglés y viajar. Posteriormente, tuve que escoger tres países europeos de los cuales elegí Finlandia, Inglaterra e Irlanda. Unos meses después me confirmaron el destino final para mis prácticas: Irlanda.
In La Salle Berrozpe Ikastetxea, my vocational training school, they raised the possibility of an internship abroad. I thought it was a good opportunity to improve my English and travel. Later, I had to choose three European countries so I opted for Finland, England and Ireland. A few months later they confirmed the final destination for my internship: Ireland.
Azkenean, martxoan ekin nion abenturari eta Irlandara iritsi nintzen, hirusten, Leprechaun-en eta pinten herrialde berdera, HETELeko LHko beste ikastetxe batzuetako bederatzi gazterekin batera. Cork hirian izan naiz, Irlandaren hegoaldean; oso hiri abegikorra da eta Donostia gogorarazi zidan. Etxean bezala nengoen!
En marzo por fin, junto con nueve jóvenes más de diferentes centros de FP HETEL, me embarqué en esta aventura y aterricé en el país verde de los tréboles, Leprechauns y las pintas. Concretamente, he estado en Cork, al Sur de Irlanda, una ciudad muy acogedora, que me recordó a Donostia ¡Me sentía como en casa!
In March, I finally landed with nine more young people from different HETEL VET schools, I embarked on this adventure and landed in the green country of clovers, Leprechauns and pints. More specifically, I was in Cork, in Southern Ireland, a very welcoming city, which reminded me of San Sebastian. It felt right at home!
