Corpus Christi Lodge to meet Oct. 3 Poth has
three new members
Lodge celebrated 125th anniversary in August CORPUS CHRISTI – Corpus Christi Lodge No. 34 members will gather Oct. 3 at 6:30 p.m. at Hilltop Community Center for a potluck meal and games. The lodge celebrated its 125th anniversary on Aug. 13 at Land and Sea. Guests from the Home Office were Grand Vice President-Marketing Tim Kolbe, wife Cheryl and daughter Katy. He presented a 70-year membership pin to Clayton Poenisch of Ingleside and
60-year membership pins to Ida Blankenship of Corpus Christi and Debra Gallemore of Houston. Brother Poenisch has been a member since April 1, 1946. Sister Blankenship and Sister Gallemore both joined on Dec. 21, 1956. The lodge received a certificate for its participation in Join Hands Day. Robert and Troylyn Gonzalez celebrate their wedding anniversary in September. – Reporter

POTH – Poth Lodge No. 272 welcomed three new members at the September meeting. They are Hailey Marie Castillo, Barrett James White and Madison Ann White. Randolph Pfullmann has transferred to Jourdanton Lodge No. 310. New guidelines for the lodge’s scholarship were approved. Anyone applying for the scholarship must have been a member in good standing of Poth Lodge for the past five years, must be a graduating high school senior and the applicant and/or parents or grandparents of the applicants must attend at least three meetings prior to submission of the application. The names of four campers were announced. Wyatt Theodore Hoover, Hayden Trey Lane, Cloe Alyssa Bostick and Erin L. Friesenhahn will be invited to the next meeting. They will receive their camp scholarship only if they come to that meeting. Lawrence Maha was celebrating a birthday. Elizabeth Cutsinger and Travis Cutsinger won the door prizes. The names of Clarence Hosek, Robert Ellis Brown and Gladys J. Dziuk were drawn for the kitty but they were not present. The kitty will be increased by $2 for next month. Everyone enjoyed sandwiches with strawberries and cream and lots of games. – Reporter
