Schulenburg Lodge welcomes two new members SCHULENBURG – Schulenburg Lodge will meet Nov. 13 at the Schulenburg Community Center. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. followed by the meal and meeting at 7 p.m. The meal will include sausage, potatoes, sauerkraut and dessert. Twenty-eight members enjoyed a meal of hamburgers and desserts at the October meeting. Welcomed as new members were Allie Ann Neiser and Haylee Lynn Stary. Agent Mary K. Seifert reported that this year there will be tumbling and cheer routines as part of the Schulenburg School of Dance recital. She also reported that Flatonia Lodge has entered the Hermann Sons Life float in the Flatonia Czhilispiel Parade. Officers for 2020 were elected and include president, Ed Moeller; vice president, Mary K.

New Braunfels plans catered meal in December NEW BRAUNFELS – New Braunfels Lodge will meet Nov. 3. Jerome and Virginia Vetter will host the meal. Members are reminded that the December meeting will include a catered meal. Reservations should be made at the November meeting or by calling Sandra Guenther at 625-5709. Ghosts and goblins decorated the hall for the Halloween meeting on Oct. 6. Twelve new members were welcomed. Agent Shirley Huebinger re-

ported that she had attended a continuing education workshop at Hilltop Camp that weekend. Agents were informed of new programs to be offered at the Camp next year and that the facilities are available to rent to outside groups. The new sign from the Home Office was displayed. Attendance prizes went to Ethan and Dorella Colbert, James Stolte, Lenora Mueller, Cindy Crowell, Dennis Schwab, Karen Harborth, Michael and Shirley Huebinger, Janice Neff, Jolene

Meuret and Sharon Suchy. A sausage supper was hosted by Shirley and Michael Huebinger after games and refreshments. The hall was decorated for fall for the Sept. 1 meeting. Fall foliage, baskets and pumpkins decorated the tables. Twelve new members were welcomed. Members were encouraged to donate to a charity of their choice in observance of Make a Difference Day. to celebrate the lodge’s 130th anniversary was scheduled. Attendance prizes were won by Dennis Schwab, Shirley and Michael Huebinger, Lenora Mueller, Janice Neff, Leola Stolte, Tommy Daum, Ethan Colbert, Sharon Suchy, Sandra Guenther, Harvey Heidemann and Jolene Meuret. A barbecue supper, hosted by Violet and Delbert Tanneberger, was served after games and refreshments. – Reporter

Fort Worth Lodge will elect 2020 officers at Dec. 1 meeting FORT WORTH – Fort Worth Lodge was excited to have 22 of its junior members attend Camp this year. There are many exciting changes being planned for next year so be sure to watch the Hermann Sons Life newspaper for information. offers. Summer has come to an end and finally the weather has cooled down. So, there is no excuse for not getting out and finding new members. There are people you know that don’t have any life insurance or do not have enough to take care of their family in the event of their death. Talk to everyone you know and

ask them if they need insurance and then tell them you have the company for them.
