Pershing Lodge welcomes three new members SAN ANTONIO – Pershing Lodge will meet in the San Antonio Home Association meeting room on March 4 at 7 p.m. Members are asked to bring sandwiches or salads. At the February meeting, President Beth Warne installed the 2020 officers. Students wanting to apply for the Pershing Lodge scholarship are reminded that they must have attended at least six regular meetings during a four-year period and must provide a list of the various activities in which they were involved as a member
of the lodge. Call 210-227-3085 for additional information. Chaplain Tony Valek reported on the passing of Lee T. Stalsby, Eugene R. Borders, Alma M. Geyer, Virginia D. Morris and Bernardine B. Wolf. Three new members were welcomed. They are Kathleen S. Yeary, Luke Vincent Kolodzie and Dylan Scott Barta. Transferring into the lodge is Jacqueline Lee Klein. Fredericksburg meets March 3 FREDERICKSBURG – Fredericksburg Lodge will meet Tuesday, March 3. A salad supper is planned. Members enjoyed the annual tamale and chili supper at the February meeting, which was well attended. President Hans and Lola Enderlin and Edgar and Margaret Priess prepared the meal. Hans gave members a detailed breakdown of 2019 income and expenditures and current assets. – Reporter

NIEDERWALD – Niederwald Lodge’s 2020 officers were installed at the Jan. 28 meeting. They are president, Don Dailey; vice president, Harry Schriber; secretary-treasurer, Connie Schriber; and financial trustees, Betty Moczygemba, Nancy Smith and Joe Hennig. Appointed officers will be membership coordinator, Adeline Schubert; community coordinator, Harry Schriber; youth coordinator, Joyce Dailey; and communications coordinator, Nancy Smith. Members observed a moment of silence in memory of those who had passed away in 2019. – Nancy Smith
the recital will be held in May. It was decided the Join Hands Day project will again be to visit Parkview Manor and play games with the residents. The date has not been set. Arlene Marshall celebrated a birthday in February. – Harlene Novak
Moulton Lodge will not meet in March. The next meeting will be held in April. Celebrating a birthday at the February meeting was Eugene Anderle. A memorial service was held to honor John Beran, Laverne Wagner and Bobby Roznovsky.
