Leadership Training Conference By Lieutenant Governor Herman Li
Leadership Training Conference for the 2011-2012 year was certainly one that people would be talking about for a long time. This year’s LTC had many experiences that could never be forgotten. First of all a member of our division Daniel Ivan Lin was elected as District Governor! LTC was held from March 20th through April 1st at the Holiday Inn Hotel near Albany. Many activities and workshops were also held LTC. One of them was a large fundraising projects planning that I had attended. Some of the others included Presidents, Public Speaking, and Life after Key Club. The workshops go deeper into what it is to be a Key Clubber and how you can develop these skills to become a better member/officer. The activities were just as helpful and exciting as the workshops. The one that I had remembered the most was the good deeds ice breaker during Playfair. It got everyone moving around and I actually meet a few new people. Overall LTC was a time where all of the Key Clubs could meet each other, create new bonds, while also strengthening ones as well. It is also a time where we remember why we do the things we do in Key Club by remembering the values that we follow.
