Sevilla

Sevilla Die Aufführung seines Stückes „Sevilla“ brachte Albéniz 1886 in Madrid nicht nur öffentlichen Erfolg, sondern auch den Auftrag, eine achtsätzige „Suite espagnole“ für Klavier (HN 783) zu komponieren. Choralvorspiele Bearbeitung für Klavier Choralvorspiele – Bearbeitung für Klavier Neben der Violin-Chaconne sind die zehn Orgelchoralvorspiele die bekanntesten Klaviertranskriptionen Busonis von Werken J. S. Bachs. La Fille aux cheveux de lin Debussy stellte seinen 1910 veröffentlichten „Préludes“ für Klavier (HN 383) ganz bewusst keine Titel voran, sondern notierte sie lediglich am Ende und in Klammern. Gleichwohl ist die Nr. 8 der Sammlung auch einzeln als „La Fille aux cheveux de lin“ (Das Mädchen mit den flachsblonden Haaren) berühmt geworden. Im Nebel Klaviermusik nimmt in Janáčeks Œuvre nur einen kleinen, aber musikalisch gewichtigen Raum ein. Die Ausgabe von „Im Nebel“ des bewährten Janáček-Herausgebers Jiří Zahrádka zeigt das sehr eindrücklich. Valse oubliée Nr. 1 1881 entstand eine Komposition, die Franz Liszt in einem Brief an den Verleger als „Valse oubliée“ (Vergessener Walzer) ankündigte. Das Stück erinnert an die gefälligen Klavierwalzer, wie sie der Komponist in seiner Frühzeit gepflegt hatte. Der französische Hornist Henri Chaussier gab dazu den Anstoß. Er hatte ein neuartiges „Cor omnitonique“ entwickelt. Chaussiers Erfindung konnte sich bei den Hornisten nicht durchsetzen – wohl aber das Morceau de Concert! § durch zwei Kürzungsvorschläge Saint-Saëns’ auch für fortgeschrittene Schüler geeignet Morceau de Concert in f minor op. 94 for Horn and Piano Saint-Saëns’ Morceau de Concert was composed with the idea of exploiting the technical possibilities of the new valve-horn mechanism. The French horn player Henri Chaussier provided the impulse. He had developed a novel “Cor omnitonique”.
