MA JOR PROJECTS BOB JOHNSON | SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, MAJOR PROJECTS PROMOTED! Alex Johnson, Assistant Project Manager Alex started working at Helix, in the PreFab department in 2008, until he was accepted in the ABC Electrical Apprenticeship program and started working as an apprentice. After graduation, he continued working as a journeyman, and then became a medium voltage leadman in charge of medium voltage terminations and splicing. Alex worked as MV Lead on multiple solar field projects across Nevada, Idaho, and Texas, gaining multiple certifications along the way, and also became a licensed journeyman electrician in Idaho, and graduating Helix Superintendent training. Alex started his Project Engineer role in 2018, and has now moved into his Assistant Project Manager position. His first official job is Catholic Charities, Phase 2 with Martin Harris, but has been working closely with Marshall Thomson on projects such as World Market Center, Corridor of Hope, Amazon LAS1, and Edwards AFB. Congratulations Alex!!

Kirt Svedin, Project Manager Transferred to the Helix Utah Office. Kirt’s been with Department 16 for 6 ½ years, starting as a PE, working his way up to the Project Manager role. Good Luck in Utah!!
