The victory came in the 2018/19 FA Vase third round at The MAP Group UK Stadium. Ben Dibb-Fuller drove from the halfway line before firing into the bottom corner from the edge of the box to give The Hornets an early lead. Scott Oliver's side made it two as Michael Richardson latched onto a long ball and, with his back to goal, punted into the back of the net. In the second period, Hebburn made it three as Richardson squared to Dibb-Fuller at the back stick to poke past the 'keeper. The visitors were in dreamland and got a fourth as Louis Storey sent a cushioned volley in from the near post. The Hornets made it 5-0 as Dibb-Fuller evaded a challenge before slotting past the goalkeeper on the rebound for his hat-trick. Stockton answered as Fred Woodhouse struck past Andrew Jenninson inside the area, and he got a second after neat footwork on the right flank. Peter Bulmer tucked home a cross for The Anchors to make it 5-3, but Stockton's comeback proved too little too late to prevent Hebburn from entering the hat.
