HELLO AND WELCOME TO TONIGHT'S ISUZU FA TROPHY SECOND ROUND QUALIFYING FIXTURE.
Overall, it was a very good display last Saturday at home to Tadcaster. That's what we can do to teams - I was a bit annoyed we switched off for their goals, but in the first half we were tremendous. We started really well in the second half, then I'll hold my hands up for the last 20 minutes by making three subs. At 5-1 we expected them to come on and enjoy the game, but it didn't pan out like that. We had to look after players Amar Purewal was playing through a groin injury, Oliver Walters went straight back in after six weeks out. Daniel Field has impressed us in training - he's a big, aggressive lad that's comfortable on the ball so he'll bring some depth to the back four. Andy Coulson will push Shaun Newbrook on - he's been here before and we needed someone to help tick Shaun on, we may look at using him for cup games. We need more bodies - we lost Will McCamley through injury and you need a large squad in this league to be where you want to be. Stockton are a good side. Both teams know a lot about each other - it was a good game down their place and I'm expecting the same here tonight. I've given the lads a target for the next few games and Saturday was one ticked off. As a player, you want to be playing in these big games on a Friday night in front of a large crowd - you want to showcase yourself and wear the badge with pride.
