Dear Parents and Guardians As the winter nights draw in, we have started this busy term with enthusiasm and excitement filling the air. Thank you to those who joined us for our bonfire and firework display. The girls have returned with gusto and have all approached their assessments with enthusiasm. Our annual Question Time was again a tremendous success, with panel participants eagerly preparing their topics for presentation, and then answering associated questions with maturity. Over the last two weeks we have welcomed parents to a GCSE certificate presentation, Heathfield old girls as guest speakers and future pupils for assessment days; there has been a permanent buzz around the school. The anticipation of our annual St Nicholas’ stalls is palpable, and I very much look forward to seeing you all at what will be my first Heathfield Christmas fayre. Our poignant Remembrance service was led by Father David and reminds us of how lucky we are and the sacrifices that so many made for us to be where we are today. Best wishes Ms Sarah Wilson
Headmistress
