A MIRACLE IN IRAN: Your Prayers Matter!

Ephesians 3:20

Dear Friend,

While persecution intensifies, God’s power breaks through. Consider Shirin — who was diagnosed with colon cancer, she called our center desperate for help. After prayer and accepting Christ, she experienced complete healing!

This is just one example of how your prayers are working in Iran.

In closed countries, like Iran, we rejoice that God is still moving through signs, wonders, and miracles! Each prayer offered, each gift given, each word of encouragement shared — these are not small things but powerful acts of faith that echo across borders and touch hearts.

Together, we’re witnessing God’s miraculous work in Iran — thanks to your continued support!

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you have blessed others, and may He continue to renew your strength as you hope in Him.

Sincerely,

But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their STRENGTH; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall RUN AND NOT BE WEARY; they shall WALK AND NOT FAINT. Isaiah 40:31

As we wait on the Lord, we can trust He is moving and invites us to follow Him!

Dr. Mike Ansari

In our service to others, particularly in challenging regions like Iran, we sometimes feel our strength depleting. The needs seem endless, the obstacles imposing. Yet, Isaiah reminds us of a profound spiritual truth: our strength is renewable when its source is the Lord.

Consider the eagle — it doesn’t frantically flap its wings in panic. Instead, it spreads them wide, catching the updrafts of wind, allowing these currents to lift it higher. Similarly, when we place our hope in God, we’re not relying on our limited human resources but opening ourselves to His limitless power

Some days, God gives us eagle moments — times of soaring high above problems with remarkable clarity and strength. Other days, He gives us endurance to run the marathon of service without growing weary. And on the most difficult days, He simply helps us take the next faithful step without fainting.

As you continue your vital support and prayers for Iran, remember that your strength isn’t self-generated but God-renewed. Each morning offers fresh mercies and renewed power for the day’s journey.

Take a moment today to spread your wings in prayer, catch the holy updraft of God’s presence, and allow Him to renew your strength for the sacred work He’s called you to do.

Ester fell off a ledge and couldn’t walk. She prayed that Jesus would heal her. After months of suffering and not walking, Jesus came to her in a dream and said, “Wait for May 13th, and I will heal you.” The counselors shared with her about Jesus’ resurrection, and Ester believed Jesus could heal her. She called back and gave her “resurrection day” testimony on the air!

Join us for our quarterly Pray4Iran event, where our community comes together with partners and friends to lift up the underground church in Iran through unified prayer. This special time of intercession takes place via Zoom, allowing supporters from various locations to participate in this important ministry.

During each call, we focus our prayers on the needs of Iranian believers who faithfully serve Christ despite challenging circumstances. These quarterly gatherings strengthen our connection with the persecuted church and allow us to stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Iran.

Mark your calendars for our next Pray4Iran gathering, May 28th. Together, our prayers make a difference!

Efran, a 15 year old boy, had been living with his mother since his parents separated when he was only 3 years old. The past year, however, he had become increasingly upset with his mother which resulted in him moving in with his father who lives in a small village. With his father, there was no internet or phone signal, he had to walk miles just to go to school, and he became hopeless and started doubting his will to live. During this troublesome time, a family friend came to their home and shared the gospel with Efran and he came to give his heart to the Lord. After finding renewed hope and strength, he received his first Bible and was overjoyed to read scripture and even said that it was the best gift he had ever received, Amen!

2. In a small cup, mix cornstarch with a few tablespoons milk. Stir to create a smooth, gravy-like consistency. This is called a cornstarch slurry.

3. Add cornstarch slurry, sugar, cardamom, and rose water to the saucepan. Stirring constantly, heat mixture until it thickens and a few bubbles break surface.

4. Remove from the heat and ladle into serving dishes.

5. Cover with plastic wrap, pressing lightly onto the pudding. This prevents a skin from forming on the custard.

6. Refrigerate and cool completely. Sprinkle with ground pistachios, decorate with 2-3 whole pistachios, and serve!
