Harvest of Hope: Prayer Guide

Page 1

The Christian community in Iran is in dire need of biblical resources, spiritual guidance, and prayer. Despite the growing Christian movement in Iran, it has received little attention from the Western world, with minimal media coverage and limited mission resources dedicated to reaching this vital nation. Heart4Iran (H4I) has been dedicated to reaching out to this spiritually hungry population since its establishment in 2006. H4I uses platforms, such as social media, mobile technology, satellite TV, underground church planting, and the Trauma Ministry Call Center. Heart4Iran strives to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Iranians. H4I strives to bring the cause of Iranian Christians, and the hope of their struggle to the mainstream media and the forefront of Christian philanthropy.

H4I aids in fulfilling the critical elements of the Great Commission through:

• Evangelism and Discipleship

• Church Planting

• Online Virtual Church

• Scripture Distribution

• 24/7 Call Center - Trained to Help with Trauma Needs

• Multi-Platform Social Media Engagements

• Evangelism and Discipleship

• Church Planting

• Leadership Training

• 24/7 Christian Satellite Broadcasting (MohabatTV)

All our resources at Heart4Iran and MohabatTV, including satellite airtime, in-country follow up and Bible distribution is available to our ministry partners at no cost. Let’s work together to reach the people of Iran and the region!

Friends,

Will you join me in praying for Iran’s Peace and Prosperity! Let’s unite our hearts and lift our voices in prayer for the people of Iran. May they find strength, hope, and unity in challenging times. Let’s pray for God’s wisdom and comfort for those in need. Through our powerful prayers, I believe that God can bring peace to this beautiful nation.

Remembering the verse in Matthew 21:22,

“If you believe, you will RECEIVE whatever YOU ASK FOR in prayer. ”

Together, our prayers can make a difference and bring healing to Iran. Join hands, hearts, and minds in a collective prayer for a brighter future for Iran. Your prayers matter — let’s stand together and support Iran through the power of prayer.

WHY HEART4IRAN?

Sincerely,

Heart4Iran is a prominent ministry that provides opportunities to smaller indigenous groups and organizations, enabling them to reach their communities in Iran and the neighboring regions. The ministry not only offers free studio production to a multitude of partners but also provides free broadcasting, free in-country follow-up, and free Bible distribution within Iran. Heart4Iran has been pivotal in establishing numerous house churches across the nation. God is at work in Iran, Jesus is building His Church, the Spirit is transforming lives ... The Gospel is on the move! Let’s partner together to advance the Great Commission in this critical region.

Conversion to Christianity is considered apostasy, punishable by death — yet according to World Mission, Iran has the fastest-growing underground church movement in the world. Iranians are disillusioned with their Islamic leaders and find Islam to be bankrupt. Many are having dreams and visions about Jesus. Heart4Iran and its family of partners have an appointed reach to engage Iranians, to bring them from a point of interest to influence.

Through Heart4Iran’s media arm, Mohabat TV (Our 24/7 Farsi satellite station), social media platforms, and its vast 24/7 call center, we can engage hundreds of people daily to bring them the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Heart4Iran and its family of partners are pioneers in the virtual church ministry in Iran. In 2018, Mohabat TV received the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) prestigious International Impact Award.

AWAKENING

Anything that becomes visible is light. There it says, “Awake, O sleeper and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

— Ephesians 5:14

In Iran, conversion to Christianity is illegal and Christians are highly persecuted. Yet many Iranians are having dreams and visions about Jesus, looking for ways to get to know Him. That is why Heart4Iran is working with our partners to shine the light of the Gospel into this restricted region. No matter the challenges we face, the Hope of the Gospel will be preached!

Ephesians 5:14, we see a beautiful promise that Christ will shine on those who accept him as their Savior. Will you join us in declaring that those sleeping will arise from the dead so Christ can shine on them? Will you join us in praying for a great AWAKENING in Iran?

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, we thank You that You desire that none should perish but have everlasting life. We pray that our brothers and sisters in Iran will see Your light and respond with a prayer of Salvation. God, we pray for a great awakening in their hearts.

BIBLES

Anything For the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

— Hebrews 4:12

People in Iran do not have access to Bibles as they are illegal in Iran. As the house church movement in Iran is growing, the need for the Word of God is more real than ever before. The Word of God is a weapon against the enemy’s attacks; with your help, we can provide this powerful weapon to Iranian believers. As they read their BIBLE and grow in the knowledge of God, it will empower them to run the race God has set before them.

We know the transformational power of reading God’s word and want to provide it to every Christ seeker in Iran! Will you join us in praying for those who need a Bible? Will you pray for their safe delivery and protection?

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the Word of God and the power it has in the life of every believer! We pray that You would help us provide a Bible to EVERY Iranian Christian in need of one.

CHILDREN

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.

— Proverbs 22:6

CHILDREN are our future; we must do everything we can to equip them for their future. Without the proper tools, it’s hard to be successful. We believe children should have access to a Bible so they can learn who they are in Christ. As they discover who they are, they will grow in confidence and be able to face life’s challenges! We are thankful resources such as Superbook are meeting some of these demands, but more concerted effort to bless the children is needed.

Will you join us in praying for the children of Iran? Will you pray they receive the Hope of the Gospel and that each child will have their own Bible so they won’t depart from God’s truth when they grow up?

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, we know how important it is to train our children in the ways of truth; we pray that You would help us to provide a Bible to every child in Iran and that You would continue to give us strategies to reach them.

DISCIPLES

Anything Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

— Matthew 28:9

There is a critical need to reach the people of Iran because they are suffering and dying without the knowledge of God! Those who come to Christ need Biblical discipleship, which is seriously lacking in this persecuted nation. Through the generous support of our donors, we continue to expand our reach and impact into a nation closed to the Gospel.

No matter how hard the enemy tries to stop us, God continues showing us how to DISCIPLE the beautiful people of Iran. Through our 24/7 trauma call center, our devoted agents tirelessly connect with and disciple callers.

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, thank You for showing us the BEST way to disciple the people of Iran. Thank You for supernatural favor and protection as we preach the Gospel in this beautiful nation.

ENCOUNTERS

“The Spirit of the Lord speaks by me; His word is on my tongue.”

— 2 Samuel 23:2

Heart4Iran is working overtime to provide Bibles to new believers because we know that things will start to change for their good when God’s Word is on their tongue. Even though Iranians are living under severe persecution, we know that God’s truth will give them the hope they need to live a victorious life - even under great persecution.

Will you join us in praying Iranians will have God ENCOUNTERS through dreams and visions leading to salvation? Will you pray they will be bold as the Word of God is on their tongue to speak its truth?

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, we pray for our brothers and sisters in Iran; we pray that every new believer would take Your Word upon their tongue and speak its truth. We pray the captives will be set free.

FAITHFULNESS

Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man.

— Proverbs 3:3-4

Many Iranian converts to Christianity are faithfully serving the Lord knowing they may go to jail or be killed for their new faith. Finding favor with God and man starts with FAITHFULNESS. Being faithful in a nation open to Christianity is much easier than being faithful in a closed country that targets and persecutes Christians! But God is faithful, and His heart is that none would perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

God LOVES Iranians, and He loves that we’re doing our part to reach them! As we demonstrate faithfulness, remember that we are pioneering a way for those behind us to do the same. After all, we lead by the example we set.

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for helping Iranian Christians walk in faithfulness even when it feels too hard; thank You for helping us be faithful in reaching them with the hope of the Gospel through our resources and prayers.

GOD

Keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

— Jude 1:21

We know Him because we follow Him, but many have not experienced His love through His Son, Jesus Christ. We have a responsibility to show them who God is and what He did for them. While we might never meet them this side of Heaven, we can do our part by partnering with Heart4Iran through generosity and prayer.

Will you join Heart4Iran in reaching the lost by showing them who God is through our great love for them? Will you commit to praying for our front-line team reaching Iranians daily?

HOPE

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. — Hebrews 10:23

You can’t hold fast to your confession of Hope if you don’t have any. Unfortunately, many Iranians are living hopelessly. They don’t know the HOPE offered to them in Christ Jesus because their society forbids it. Yet, God is still more remarkable and works with those willing to pay the price to spread the Gospel in this closed region.

God is faithful to His children and has provided ways for us to spread His truth, even in persecuted countries like Iran. Every day our 24/7 trauma call center responds to calls from Iranians searching for hope, and they find it on the other end of the line.

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, we pray that You will continue to open avenues for us to walk through in reaching Iranians. We pray that they will hear the message of HOPE found in the Gospel and respond with a YES. Bless them, we pray, in Jesus’ name.

JOY

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness, peace, and JOY in the Holy Spirit… — Romans 14:7

The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and JOY in the Holy Spirit. How important do you think JOY is? It’s essential in God’s kingdom! Some might wonder how you could have joy in a persecuted nation closed to the gospel; we believe the answer is by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Being led by the Holy Spirit means that our environment or circumstances do not control us, but God leads us with the help of the Holy Spirit. Followers of Christ should be the happiest people on the planet regardless of what they face because they have found HOPE in Jesus. Through your support, we are helping Iranians discover this truth.

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for an outpouring of joy on our Iranian brothers and sisters; we pray that You would help them keep their focus on You and Your truth. We pray the Holy Spirit will lead them.

But they are not alone; they’re not forsaken. Your prayers and support provide them with what they need to endure harsh persecution

Through our 24/7 satellite broadcast (Mohabat TV) and trauma call center, Iranians receive the good news of the Gospel and learn how to put on love even when it’s hard. Will you continue to join us in funding the Gospel to Iranians?

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, we thank You that Iranians are receiving the Gospel message through Mohabat TV and prayer support through the prayer agents. We pray that You continue to provide the funding needed to reach them.

Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, thank You for your peace that passes our understanding of our brothers and sisters in Iran. We commit to pause and pray for them every time you bring them to our remembrance.

PRAYER

Pray without ceasing. — 1 Thessalonians 5:17

If God said it, He meant it! How do we, as believers, pray without ceasing?

We always keep our hearts’ posture towards the Lord, and our thoughts and affections always turn towards Him. It takes discipline and intentionality, but we can do it.

Brother Lawrence, the author of The Practice of the Presence of God, said, “We should establish ourselves in the sense of GOD’s Presence by continually conversing (praying) with Him.” The power of PRAYER cannot be understated, and we must disciple Iranians with this truth because it will transform their lives.

God’s promises are for every believer. We read in Philippians 4 that God will give His people strength, so that is what we pray for our Iranian brothers and sisters. By faith, we trust that God gives them the power to endure hardship and live fully devoted to Him. We trust that His perfect will is going to be done in the nation of Iran because He is good.

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your beautiful and precious promises that we can rely on to carry us through even the darkest of times. We pray that You will continue to be the source of strength for our brothers and sisters in Iran.

PROTECTION

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave or forsake you.

— Deuteronomy 31:6

We thank God that He promised never to leave us or forsake us! We can trust God to protect Iranian believers because He is trustworthy, and His Word will not return void to us as we commit to pray for their PROTECTION (Isaiah 55:11). Our prayers are powerful and effective.

As we commit to intercede for their protection, God continues to perform signs, wonders, and miracles on their behalf. One day, we will see the results of our faithful prayers and rejoice for all God has done!

— 2 Corinthians 9:8

Hearing the cry for help from the Iranian people can sometimes feel hopeless until we refocus and set our minds on things above (Colossians 3:2). As we center ourselves on the truths found in God’s Word, we remind ourselves that God is the source of our supply. We share this truth through our 24/7 Christian satellite broadcast (Mohabat TV).

PURPOSE

And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose. — Romans 8:28

Our purpose is the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

We must get the message to the people of Iran that God is working for the good of those who love Him. We are responsible for declaring the Word of God to those who are perishing and providing them a lifeline to heaven. Finding God allows people to find their true PURPOSE. Everyone deserves this gift; you get to participate through your prayers and support.

People can persevere through life’s greatest difficulties when they find their true purpose. As we do our part to ensure everyone hears the Gospel, we trust that God will water those seeds and that they’ll produce a harvest of souls for the Kingdom of God.

REFRESHING

For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.

— Jeremiah 31:25

God is good, and we see it throughout his word. That is why renewing our minds with truth is invaluable because it equips us for what we will face. “I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world (John 16:33).”

We want our brothers and sisters in Iran to know this same truth; we want them to know they will find times of REFRESHING through their relationship with God. Your generosity enables us to encourage those languishing that God will replenish them. No matter how bad it is, God is bigger, which is our message.

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, we pray that Iranians will experience times of refreshing through their relationship with You. We pray that those who are weary will find hope in Christ.

RELATIONSHIPS

May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.

— 1 Thessalonians 3:12

We want Iranians to know how much we love them. We also want to teach them how to love each other. One of the greatest gifts God has given us on this side of heaven is our RELATIONSHIPS. They require a lot of hard work, but it’s worth it. When we have trusted friends, we can go to them in times of trouble; it offers great comfort and strength.

Only the Lord can cause our love to increase and overflow towards each other. That is why we need a Savior. Only through Jesus can we love others the way He has loved us. With the help of the Holy Spirit, Christian Iranians can be a light in the darkness that will draw all men to God.

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, we pray You would strengthen the unity among the Christians in Iran. We pray for supernatural protection and divine appointments to encourage them in their relationships.

— 2 Corinthians 9:11

God promised to give seed to the sower (2 Corinthians 9:10). The seeds we sow into Iran will ensure they can grow in the knowledge of God through our 24/7 satellite broadcast (Mohabat TV) and trauma prayer center.

Heart4Iran partners with others to bring needed resources to the struggling church in Iran. The RESOURCES we have will help Iranians be enriched, thrive and produce thanksgiving to God. May we be led by the Spirit of God to be found faithful in sowing seed into soil desperate for the Gospel. May our faith be anchored in Christ, who will water those seeds for a harvest of souls.

Heavenly Father, we pray that You bless the seeds You’ve given us to sow. We ask that our resources will produce a harvest of souls for the Kingdom of God, and we believe it will cause Iranians to be full of thanksgiving.

STEADFAST

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

— Lamentations 3:22-23

Let’s thank the Lord for His steadfast love and mercy that never comes to an end. God loves us with everlasting love, including the people of Iran. Some have come to know this truth, but many still live in darkness. We are not hopeless in our mission to reach them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We know that God is with us, guiding us and helping us remain STEADFAST in our pursuit of sharing His truth with a nation that persecutes Christians. We will not shrink back; we will stand in the gap and proclaim to them, ‘The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases… great is His faithfulness.’

STRATEGY

In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.

— Proverbs 3:6

We want to align ourselves with God’s strategy and plans. When you says ‘YES’ to supporting a nation that is closed to God, you need supernatural STRATEGY. Many have quit their noble pursuit to share the Gospel because they didn’t have a strategy. We can do no good thing apart from Christ (Psalm 16:2); if we try to do it in our own strength, we must sustain the work.

When we invite God into the process, He promises to make our paths straight. Only God can take what the enemy has meant for evil and turn it for His good (Genesis 50:20). The great news is that God wants to help us reach the people of Iran!

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us a supernatural strategy to reach the people of Iran. We pray that You would open our eyes to see and ears to hear what You are doing and saying.

SUFFERING

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

— Psalms 46:1

Iranians are SUFFERING every day, all day long. Life is hard for them, as the basic freedom offered to us is lacking in their society. Generation after generation has seen hopelessness as they sit under a belief-system that punishes Christians and any other group that disagrees with them.

Yet, a light is shining in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (John 1:5).

God is more powerful than any enemy attack on the people of Iran. He promised us in Psalms 46 that He would be their refuge, strength, and ever-present help in trouble. The more we declare this message of truth, the more people are saved from hell!

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, we pray that You would cause Your light to shine even brighter through Mohabat TV. We ask that You bless the generosity of our partners by expanding our reach into Iran.

Quick Facts.

THANKSGIVING

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

— Philippians 4:6

Have you seen a new convert’s joy when they come to receive Christ as their Savior? It is pure, untainted and full of life. God’s eyes are upon the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their prayer (1 Peter 3:12). Even though Christians in Iran face severe persecution, they are filled with God’s truth, helping them live with joy and hearts of THANKSGIVING. Through your continued support, you are ensuring that Iranians are learning, growing, and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you!

As we partner to see the nation of Iran surrender to Jesus, we will not be anxious but will pray full of thanksgiving as we trust God, which is what we will teach them to do! We are blessed to be used by God to reach Iran.

Declare With Us.

Due to persecution, most mature church leaders in Iran had to either escape the country or go to jail. Keeping believers safe and in-country, and providing resources to them is a critical step in safeguarding the future of healthy church growth in Iran.

Heavenly Father, thank You for pouring your Spirit into Iran. We pray You would continually fill their hearts with thanksgiving towards You and their brothers and sisters.

TRANSFORMATION

You see, at just the right time when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.

— Romans 5:6

At just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly! God is so good. TRANSFORMATION occurs every day inside Iran because of your dedicated support and prayers. Divine appointments and God encounters are leading to transformed lives.

Iran is undergoing a spiritual transformation, and His perfect will is going to be done at just the right time. Will you join us in praying for massive salvation and revival in Iran? Will you share what God is doing in Iran and invite people to join our cause?

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for transforming the lives of Iranians. We pray that You would move with great power upon their hearts and they would turn to You. We thank You for what You’re doing in Iran through our prayers and support.

TRUST

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. — Proverbs 3:5

What do you do when the government has failed you, and you are under extreme oppression? What do you do when you have to hide that you’re a Christian for fear of imprisonment or possible death? Iranians face this and much more every day. That is why we do what we do because we want to share the hope of Jesus with them.

How can they TRUST the Lord if they don’t know who He is? How can they rely on someone they don’t know is there to support them? It is quite literally a matter of life and death that we get the Gospel into Iran. We will point them to the one true God they can trust.

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, thank You for leading our steps into Iran. We pray that You move upon our hearts to remain faithful to the cause of the Iranian people, which is to see them saved through our prayers and support.

UNDERGROUND

And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

— Matthew 16:18

Something we don’t have to worry about in the United States and many other countries is meeting in an UNDERGROUND church; we have the freedom to worship openly. That is not the case in Iran; most Christians don’t meet together for fear of being caught and jailed.

In Matthew 16:18, we see a promise from God that the gates of hell will not prevail against His church. If we, as Christians, believe this is true (which we do!), let us become bold in declaring the Gospel of Jesus to Iran. Let us build them up with the truth of God’s word and inspire them to run the race God has equipped them to run.

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, thank You for building Your church. We pray that You would move with great might among Iranians and fill them with boldness to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Quick Facts.

According to 2021 Data Reportal stats, 59.16 million Iranians were active internet users. In pursuit of better life many have left Iran and there is supporting evidence that Iranian migrants help contribute to the academic and financial infrastructure of the host country.

VICTORY

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

— Joshua 1:9

Dorothy Norwood wrote a great song, saying, ‘VICTORY is mine, Victory is mine, Victory today is mine. I told Satan to get thee behind; victory today is mine.’ What a beautiful song to sing for all Christians, especially Iranians! When we know who our God is and believe that He is with us wherever we go, we become bold as lions roaring the praises of our King.

Our hearts are eager to see the plans and purposes of God being done in Iran. We want to encourage our brothers and sisters to be strong and courageous because God is with them and is making a way where there seems to be no way!

Declare With Us.

Taarof means “meeting together” and involves a lot of humble and polite back-and-forth towards others. For example if something is offered to someone , the polite practice (taarof) is to refuse twice; if offered a third time, they may accept.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for being with us wherever we go; please help us spread this message to the people of Iran. Anoint us to touch them even though we can’t be with them. Bless them with victory.

VISIONS

And the Lord said to Paul one night in a vision, “Do not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent….”

— Acts 18:9

For those that may not know the story of our President, Mike Ansari, a former Muslim, he came to know the Lord because his mother had a VISION of Jesus! God is still speaking to people through dreams and visions. We’ve received many calls from people who’ve had a vision of a man in white, and these visions have opened up doors for incredible conversations about Jesus, with many accepting them as their Savior.

We love Acts 18:9, where the Lord tells Paul, ‘Don’t be afraid… go on speaking… do not be silent.’ The Word of God is clear on what we need to do to reach those in need of a Savior - we need to speak to them and not be silent.

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, we pray You continue speaking to Iranians through dreams and visions. We ask that You keep the phone lines open so they can call us and receive the Gospel message that can lead to salvation.

Quick Facts.

Iran has 23 UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Persepolis, the capital of the Achaemenid Empire. Iran does not recognize dual nationality, and therefore reserves the right to detain, imprison or even torture dual citizens who have traveled to Iran.

Quick Facts.

Christianity is flourishing in Iran and the implications are potentially profound. Although the church in Iran is unlikely to make any political difference in the future of the country, it has the power to help shape the hearts and minds of Iranians through the love of Jesus.

WORSHIP

All the earth worships You and sings praises to You; they sing praises to Your name.

— Psalms 66:4

A beautiful way to end our 30 days of praying for Iranians is by encouraging us all to WORSHIP the only one worthy of our praise, God. As we focus our thoughts and attention on worshipping God, all fear of what the future holds for Iranians and us melts away in the beauty of His presence.

As we worship and sing praise to God, He fills us to overflowing with His presence. Through worship, we can hear, see, and reach better. YOU’RE an integral part of what God is doing in Iran. Thank you for your prayers and support because we’ve only just begun.

Declare With Us.

Heavenly Father, thank You fHeavenly Father, we thank You for the freedom we have to worship and pray this same freedom for our Iranian brothers and sisters. God, we pray that we will never forget them in our prayers. We trust You, God. Amen.
