If you were
given $1 million to solve a community challenge today, what would you do?
Outlines what the organisation is able to do and deliver. This should align with the mission and vision.
Think of it as a resume for your organisation.
Depending on what you want to use it for, it can vary from a singlepage summary to an extensive, multi-page document. It may include past and current experience and key staff summaries.
Your Idea is the key to a successful grant application.
An organisation will have a strategic plan and an operational plan which identifies where the organisation wants to go and the actions required to help it get there.
Project Brief:

The Read Bears Project was designed to provide children with opportunities to be motivated to read more books by having a “friend” to read to, and to encourage parents and siblings to be involved in reading with the child at home each school night. It was also aimed to have positive outcomes including:
· Increased reading skills
· Improved child wellbeing
· Improved parent/child attachment
· Increased language skills
· Improved self-confidence & self-esteem

The majority of teachers reported some observed improvement across all areas:
• 81% reported some improvement in reading skills;
• 18% reported lots of improvement
• 90% reported some improvement in language skills
• 81% reported some improvement in comprehension
