It was great to bring members back together for our October meeting at the HBAL office. Our guest speaker was Whitney Korger, who has experience as a real estate agent and photographer. She showed us how to easily Heidi Polacek Remodelers Council take photos with our Chairperson phones and modify them to use on social media. She talked to us about the importance of good lighting, warmth of photos, cropping and point of view. All great tips when it comes to showcasing your work! Our next meeting will be November 4 for a tour of the renovation project at 16th & O Streets by BK Restoration & Remodeling. We will meet for lunch at Honest Abe’s and the tour around 12:15 p.m. We will have a short agenda which will include election of officers for 2021. Please RSVP for this event if you plan on attending lunch, the tour or both! As we have colder temps and, dare I say it…flu season, please know we have to be flexible when it comes to our gatherings. We may need to reschedule, cancel or go virtual with the event at a moment’s notice. Donate Winter Items The Remodelers Council will be collecting hats, mittens, gloves and other cold weather items for a few of Lincoln’s elementary schools. Please keep this in mind as you start your holiday shopping!
