Shaping the industry for over 25 years
In 2024, our initiatives achieved significant progress, with solar power generation increasing to 62,785 kWh and chemical waste generation decreasing to 2,331 KG. We recycled 13,230 KG of paper and 442 CBM of skip waste, contributing to a notable reduction in waste sent for disposal compared to previous years.
Our primary supply item—FSC certified wood makes up 55% of our total volume. We organised an additional FSC Standards Awareness training, engaging 29 participants in strengthening their understanding of sustainable practices. We also continue to purchase recycled products for packaging.
We received the ‘First Mover in Championing Mental Health Care Award’ by Trijog, for our firm commitment to employee wellness. A total of 734 employees participated in the training and development programme. 90% scoring for our culture survey highlights a strong alignment with our values and a positive workplace environment.
We maintained our collaboration with Surge for Water, reaffirming our commitment to ensuring universal access to clean and safe drinking water for the community. In a meaningful contribution, our Company donated eight pallets of fabrics and leathers to Bahrain's Ministry of Culture, supporting local handicrafts and the initiatives of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.
Achieved ISO 45001:2018 certification, reinforcing our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety in the workplace. We achieved one million safe man-hours in KSA with zero LostTime Injuries (LTI). Our fit-out divisions recorded 3.6 million safe man-hours, supported by trainings, health screenings, and robust safety initiatives.
We successfully completed the ISO 27001 surveillance audit, with no non-conformities or concerns identified. This reaffirms our compliance and commitment to maintaining robust information security management standards. Our IT department triumphed at CIO Connect, winning three awards: IT Manager of the Year, Cybersecurity Excellence, and Sustainability Excellence (IT & Technology).
We've embraced green innovations and sustainable practices, adapting every step of our processes to minimise environmental impact.
