Designed to fit both our wooden and metal raised beds perfectly, these Hoop and Cover Kits cater for the different protection challenges in the garden and offer quick access and closing up.

A. Butterfly Net cover has a strong, soft and pliable 7mm knitted mesh. Keeps out the Cabbage White Butterfly and birds.

• Heavy duty, galvanised rust resistant steel hoops fit securely to the insides of our beds with the supplied brackets and screws.

B. Mesh Vented PVC cover combines strong, extra thick Hoops slot into brackets UV stabilised PVC with large zipped full width dual skinned PVC & insect-mesh panels on both sides. Unzip to reveal the insect-mesh panel or fully unzip and roll up for direct access.

• All hoops are 19mm diameter but heights vary according to width size (see table). 1.2m long beds = 2 hoops. 1.8m & 2.4m long beds = 3 hoops.

• Insect-Mesh cover (wooden beds only) eases round the bed, tightens with drawstring and secures to sides with supplied hooks.

• All other covers secure inside the bed with ground pegs (not supplied see p.77).

C. Insect-Mesh cover is an ultra fine 0.25mm x 0.8mm mesh size to keep out the smallest of pests.

UV stabilised for longevity, it allows air and water to circulate, provides shade and protects against weather elements - including mild frosts.

FRUIT TREE COVERS & SLEEVES Harrod Fruit Tree Cover Ideal for protecting cherries, plums and apples from birds.

UV stabilised 10mm square mesh, it is quickly erected by fitting fibreglass poles together that feed through a sleeve in the netting. The pole is anchored to the ground and the top end bends over the tree allowing the netting to be draped around. INSECT-MESH NETTING If your patch is prone to being invaded by pests both large and small, then lay this heavy duty 100% polyethylene UV stabilised fine mesh directly over crops, protection frames (p.62) or our hoops (p.72). The Ultra Fine Insect-Mesh has an even finer mesh size that also keeps minute pests such as whitefly, flea beetle and aphids at bay. Both mesh sizes provide up to 20% shade but still allow air and water to circulate so that plants can grow healthily too.

If your order includes one of our heavier or larger items, then the postage price applicable is shown next to our lorry symbol - we will charge the highest postage value item in your order.

For postage and packing charges to some parts of Scotland and outside the UK mainland, please telephone for a quote.

Delivery conditions

Our postage and packing prices are for most of UK mainland only. For delivery to parts of Scotland, Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands and Scilly Isles please phone for a quote. For Northern Ireland we are currently only able to accept orders from and deliver to business addresses with an EORI number.

Speed of standard delivery

With stock permitting we aim to despatch orders within 1-3 working days. All parcels are then sent on a service that delivers within 3 days. If your order includes items of Garden Furniture or a Greenhouse, see our website for delivery details.

Express delivery service

Stock permitting, we offer an EXPRESS delivery service. For orders that DO NOT include a lorry symbol, pay £10.95 P&P and we can despatch your parcel by next day delivery. We must receive your order by 12 noon from Monday-Thursday whereas those placed after 12 noon Friday will be delivered the following Tuesday. To receive EXPRESS delivery on items with a lorry symbol, please call 0333 400 6400 for a quotation.
