YOUR 2025 GROWING CALENDAR:

March: Sow carrots, beetroot, and lettuce outdoors. Pot up early potatoes and plant flower seeds like marigolds and sweet peas.

April: Plant out tomatoes, beans, and cucumbers. Sow courgettes and pumpkins, and start planting strawberries and herbs like basil and coriander.

May: Plant summer vegetables like sweetcorn, peppers, and tomatoes. Add flowering plants like sunflowers and nasturtiums, and continue planting strawberries.

June: Harvest early potatoes, broad beans, and lettuce. Sow succession crops, and begin harvesting herbs like thyme and mint. Prune roses and pick early raspberries.

July: Harvest peas, carrots, and summer squash. Begin sowing winter cabbages, and enjoy a bounty of herbs, berries, and cut-flowers like dahlias and zinnias.

August: Harvest tomatoes, sweetcorn, courgettes, and cucumbers. Sow autumn radishes, and start planting bulbs for spring flowers. Continue harvesting herbs and summer fruits.

September: Pick apples, pears, and late raspberries. Harvest main crop potatoes and onions, and plant autumn-flowering bulbs like crocuses and autumn bedding plants such as cyclamen.

October: Finish harvesting pumpkins, squash, and late herbs. Plant garlic and overwintering onions, and sow hardy annual flowers for early blooms next year.

November: Harvest the last of your root vegetables. Plant broad beans for next year, and start planning your winter herb garden indoors.

December: Reflect on the year’s successes, enjoy winter harvests of root veg and hardy herbs, and plan for the next growing season.

January: Plan your garden layout. Start sowing onions and early peas indoors, and prepare beds for garlic and shallots.

February: Sow chillies, tomatoes, and aubergines indoors. Plant out broad beans, and start growing herbs like parsley and chives.

Choose from powder coated matt black or natural aluminium finishes. Kits range from 1 x 1m to 6 x 6m, and include heavy-duty butterfly or bird netting, with Net Claw Pegs for easy access. The perfect cages to protect your crops at home, or at the allotment.

• Secure Connections: Harrod Slot & Lock® Connectors ensure a super rigid frame by locking tubing tightly with stainless steel screws.

YOUR 2025 GROWING CALENDAR:

March: Kick off the planting season by sowing bedding plants for summer, including cosmos, gazania, petunia, lobelia, sweet pea, calendula, clarkia, larkspur, nigella and marigold. You can also plant bare-root peonies now for vibrant blooms in late spring and summer.

April: Sow half-hardy flowers like nemesia, rudbeckia, cosmos, and French marigold indoors or under cover. Hardy annuals such as oxalis and clarkia can be sown outdoors or inside. Late in the month, plant dahlia tubers for a stunning summer display.

May: With the soil warming up, sow seeds of primrose, cornflowers, calendula, and sweet William directly into the ground. Press nasturtium seeds into damp compost for summer colour. It’s also a good time to plant climbers like Passion Flower.

June: In the greenhouse, sow polyanthus, primrose, and pansy. Outdoors, sow alstroemeria, achillea, arabis, Canterbury bells, coreopsis, erigeron and myosotis for a vibrant summer garden.

July: Add quick-blooming wildflowers such as alyssum, red poppy, zinnia and cosmos. These plants grow rapidly and will offer a colourful end-of-season show.

August: Late summer is perfect for sowing hardy annuals like calendulas and Californian poppies. These will establish themselves for a strong display in the next season.

September: Sow spring and summer flowers such as poppies, lupins, cornflowers and larkspur. Plant clematis at the base of arches and trellises for a stunning spring display.

October: Plant daffodil, allium and crocus bulbs for a glorious spring show. It’s also time to plant bare-root roses, which will start growing as the warmer months return.

November: Make early sowings of geraniums, nemesia, and coleus. Plant hardy, deciduous shrubs like fothergilla, witch hazel and hydrangeas.

December: Grow winter-flowering plants like honeysuckle, mahonia, daphne, and winter pansies. Container planting is ideal during this season.

February: Start sowing summer bedding plants such as geraniums, petunias, impatiens and nicotiana. Also, sow some perennials to get an early start on the growing season.

Whether sipping a frothy coffee or just sitting to watch the joys of nature at its best, it’s all the more pleasurable when sat in the wonderful comfort of Benches and Sofas from our handcrafted Southwold Furniture Collection.

Benches are available in 2, 3 and even 4-seater versions, with and without backs, and can be used with our dining or coffee tables to make a great seated area for entertaining. Sofas have a lower slung back and wider, deeper seating for lounging in ultimate comfort. These benches and sofas are also perfect as a single piece of furniture in a favourite garden spot.

PERGOLA

Perfectly complementing our Southwold Furniture, the traditional pergola creates an ideal centrepiece for outside entertaining, all while providing both sun and shower protection for the unpredictable British climes.

• Quality Construction: UK made with high grade steel, hot dip galvanised for rust protection and hand etched for a unique aged patina.

• Stable and Secure: Bolts together with fitted foot plates that secure above ground. Floor fixing bolts available separately.

• Retractable Awning: High-grade marine canvas awning in grey or ivory for sun shade and shower protection. Suspended from 3mm diameter stainless steel cables which allow it to be retracted and opened with the supplied pole. The awning has integral aluminium battens and is attached to the support wires by stainless steel carabiners that can be easily removed for storage. PLANTERS

Each planter is made from high quality hot dip galvanised steel and hand etched for a unique aged patina that improves over time. The planters are great individually to create floral displays or for specimen shrubs and bay trees but are also very effective planted up in groups or in pairs.

• Classic Planters: Features straight sides with square panelled detail on all four faces, detailed moulding on the top and bottom and feature a decorative ring on two sides. Draining hole with bung supplied. The darker pre-weathered finish will lighten over time to create a beautiful classic aged patina.

• Round Planters: Meticulously researched, designed and expertly proportioned. They are hand spun and fabricated using traditional highskilled techniques that delivers smooth rolled edges, a delightful tapered design and superior strength. Each design is detailed with side straps, attractive rivets and decorative rings, as well as solid ball feet. Bases include a central drain hole with bung and a security loop to attach a padlock/chain (not supplied) to prevent opportunist theft.

UK mainland Postage & Packing charges

We only charge you for postage and packing once per order, no matter how many items you buy. Our standard charge is £5.95 but if your order ONLY contains items marked with an envelope symbol then we charge just £3.95. If your order includes one of our heavier or larger items, then the postage price applicable is shown next to our lorry symbol - we will charge the highest postage value item in your order. For postage and packing charges to some parts of Scotland and outside the UK mainland, please telephone for a quote.

Delivery conditions

Our postage and packing prices are for most of UK mainland only. For delivery to parts of Scotland, Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands and Scilly Isles please phone for a quote. For Northern Ireland we are currently only able to accept orders from and deliver to business addresses with an EORI number.

Pricing and product information

Prices, product information and availability may change over time and we reserve the right to revise these in the event of unforeseen circumstances or change in the VAT rate. Prices include VAT where applicable. All prices & offers end 31st August 2025, unless otherwise stated.

Speed of standard delivery

With stock permitting we aim to despatch orders within 1-3 working days. All parcels are then sent on a service that delivers within 3 days. If your order includes items of Garden Furniture or a Greenhouse, see our website for delivery details.

Express delivery service

Stock permitting, we offer an EXPRESS delivery service. For orders that DO NOT include a lorry symbol, pay £10.95 P&P and we can despatch your parcel by next day delivery. We must receive your order by 12 noon from Monday-Thursday whereas those placed after 12 noon Friday will be delivered the following Tuesday. To receive EXPRESS delivery on items with a lorry symbol, please call 0333 400 6400 for a quotation.

Either send your order to an alternative delivery address or if you have a safe place to leave your package please let us know. Note that packages are left at entirely your own risk.

We want you to be delighted with your order so if for any reason you are unhappy with your items, you can return them in perfect condition and in their original packaging within 14 days for a replacement or a full refund. Returns postage will only be refunded if the item is damaged, faulty or if the wrong items have been sent. We do not accept responsibility for damaged or lost parcels on return. Any missing items should be reported within 14 days.
