NICHOLAS GLEYSTEEN Nicholas Gleysteen, Esq., CFA, is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of Hellman, Jordan Management Co., and past Chair of the Handel and Haydn Society Board of Governors. Nick graduated from Syracuse University and received law degrees from New England School of Law (JD) and Boston University Law School (LLM). Following private law practice, he worked for Coopers & Lybrand until joining Hellman, Jordan Management Company in 1984 as an analyst. He currently serves as Managing Director & Portfolio Manager, and coordinates research efforts at the firm. Nick has long been active in leadership roles throughout the community, including service on the boards of Fort Ticonderoga, the National Trust for Scotland USA, and Handel House USA and on the Vestry of Trinity Church in Boston. Nicholas has also served on the Executive Committees of the Somerset Club and Norfolk Hunt Club. Nick has been a guiding force at H+H for decades, and his generosity and dedication have brought H+H to new heights. During his term as Chair of the Board of Governors from 2010-2015, H+H celebrated its Bicentennial with city-wide celebrations, including an open-air performance of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony in Copley Square that drew 6,000 attendees. His service on the Executive, Investment, Search, Nominating, and Capital Campaign Committees has ensured that H+H’s future is a bright one, and one built on firm financial foundations.
