‘ BUGSY MALONE

Over 100 pupils from Hampton and Waldegrave School, dazzled in this madcap musical comedy set in the 1920s.

Splurge guns and custard pies were the hoodlums’ weapons of choice with Fat Sam’s Grand Slam Speakeasy, the liveliest joint in town. Also on stage, an eight-piece jazz ensemble of Hampton musicians from Second Year to Upper Sixth provided the iconic soundtrack with style.

The pure joy and energy from all involved helped to make this an unforgettable production.

DOUBLE SEMI-FINALISTS

The First XI have much to be proud of after reaching the semi-finals of the country’s two major national schools’ competitions.

Over 450 teams from across the country entered the Independent Schools’ FA (ISFA) and the English Schools’ FA (ESFA) tournaments at the start of the season. To progress through to the final four in both tournaments shows the superb calibre of Hampton’s senior squad.

‘The team can reflect on a fantastic season which has seen them play over 40 matches. Demonstrating hard work and high standards, they have been exemplary role models to the rest of the School.

Director of Football, Mr David Burke

’SWIMMING

Richmond Schools’ Swimming Competition saw a 20-strong Hampton team win the overall event along with a clutch of medals.

DOUBLE FINALISTS

ESFA FINALISTS

The Second XI have reached their ESFA Cup final after an exceptional season.

They now look forward to an appearance at a professional football stadium in May. The Second XI’s excellent run has also seen them win the Elgin Cup, and they remain in contention for the London Cup.

‘The squad has shown outstanding spirit and togetherness all season and thoroughly deserve what should be an exciting and unforgettable ESFA final appearance.

Second XI Coach, Mr Will Leafe

In a Hampton first, the U15As have reached both their ISFA and ESFA finals.

The Fourth Year team, cheered on by dozens of their classmates, faced Aldenham School at Burton Albion FC in the ISFA final.

On that occasion, Aldenham prevailed but a few weeks later, facing the same opposition, the Hampton players won 5-2 securing their place in the U15As ESFA final, which will be played next term.

I’m delighted that the squad’s hard work has been rewarded with another national final to look forward to. These talented players continue to do us proud with their dedication and team spirit.

U15A Coach, Mr Dom Boyes
