NICOLE THOMAS

Director BLEACHSUNDAY Creative Studio

Nicole is currently the Director at BLEACHSUNDAY creative studio, a beautiful, creative space in Queensland. With a goal to create movement in the hair industry, Nicole wants to inspire and mentor new creatives. Travel is also on the list, with plans to take the BLEACHSUNDAY brand to New York, Tokyo, LA and Paris.

A true artist, Nicole creates content with other creatives purely for the joy and art of it – not competition and loves to see the vision come to fruition and feels motivated and inspired when providing an authentic service to her clients, leading her team by example and helping them grow.

Senior Stylist, Educator & Social Manager, Stevie English Hair

Leanne’s list of industry accolades is growing by the minute – featuring on the Hotshots team for 2021 / 2022, she was also a FAME Team finalist in 2022 and Salon Team Member of the Year finalist in 2021. Currently at Senior Stylist, Educator and Social Media Manager at Stevie English Hair, and member of the inaugural H Team, her goals for the year are to travel internationally for work and to visit her family overseas.

JAMIE HOTTES

Owner/Director, Hottes Hair

With a focus of getting back on track with education this year, Jamie and the Hottes Hair team have been fine-tuning their business setup and moving towards a more eco-friendly salon.

Citing her career achievements as performing onstage at Hair Expo, creating a salon for likeminded hairstylists and educating for Haircare Group brands MOROCCANOIL and Lakmé, we’re excited for her Haircare Group education offering to grow with H Team!

NIKKI PORTER

Principal Stylist & Director, Rubi Hair Malvern

Principal Stylist and Director of Rubi Hair in Malvern, Nikki channels her passion for education into everything she does. Aspiring to give as much as she knows about hair to anyone that wants to learn it, her mantra is that you can never stop learning. Working to inspire more people into the salon professional, she strives to have the industry recognised as a progressive, fun and career path full of options.

Ticking off becoming a salon owner in 2015, Nikki has gone on to win Global.Synergy in 2013 and Hotshots in 2018.

TEGAN COUSINS

Master Stylist, Telleish Hair Studio

Always seeking to grow her current skills to the next level and inspire younger generations coming through the hair industry, Teagan is on a mission to give back the knowledge and passion that she has gained over the years of her career.

A global finalist for the Best Bob/Lob at the One Shot Hair Awards 2021, Teagan made it to the Top 25 worldwide of the iconic competition, and has been featured in French Vogue, styling a clients’ wedding in 2021.

RACHEL HANNAH

Salon Owner, Halo Hair & Beauty Salon

Motivated to grow her role in education and spread knowledge to others, Rachel has completed the Sharon Blain Styling Academy and owns her own salon, Halo Hair & Beauty Salon in QLD.

Taking her skills on the road, she has travelled to Barcelona and attended a styling class with Peter Beckett and MOROCCANOIL’s Antonio Calero, as well as assisting in the 2020 and 2022 Eurovision: Australia Decides concerts, showcasing her skills on the global stage.

KAITE DOMANSKI

Senior Colourist & Salon Social Media Coordinator, Capelli Hair Studio

A social media maven with colouring skills to match, Kaite is currently a Senior colourist at Capelli Hair Studio in Melbourne, and also supports the team as a Salon Social Media Coordinator.

With a goal to be successful in the industry and work alongside her hair role models like Amelia Jane and Kirsty Anne, we’re excited to have Kaite as part of the H Team!

BLAKE JAMES

Owner of Mr Burrows Hair Newtown & Marrickville

At Mr Burrows Hair, Blake and the team embrace every single person and head of hair that walks through their doors, citing that there are no limits when it comes to hair, their stylists or their clients. Inclusiveness and creativity are important to Mr Burrows Hair as a company.

Having opened a second salon in the middle of Covid, one of Blake’s goals is to open 3 more salons and make sure that the Mr Burrows Hair team have a great work/life balance. With 2 existing salons supporting a diverse and inclusive team, and with salon environments where clients are genuinely heard and understood, we’re excited to see what the future holds for Blake!

BROOKE LEBREUX

Director & Educator at B. Hair Collective

With an admirable goal to make every woman that sits in her chair walk out feeling confident and beautiful in their own skin, Brooke is a superstar educator who loves seeing those ‘aha!’ moments when a stylist or colourist masters a technique.

Opening her first salon at the age of 21, Brooke has won a highly coveted place at a Sharon Blain styling bootcamp, worked with Guy Tang for his OLAPLEX World Tour show and appeared onstage at Melbourne Hair Expo.

ELLE TURNELTY

Owner & Creative Director, Scissor & Stone

Successfully growing her salon from 2-16 staff in under 5 years, Elle moved Scissor & Stone to a new location which is 3 times the size, showcasing her ability to create a salon environment that includes likeminded people and helps each other grow personally and professionally.

Passionate about creating awareness around hair health and business education, Elle is working with Kristina Russell to feature on her podcast to discuss all things business.

CHRISTOS KAKOUFAS

Director/Owner, Christos on King (Conk Hair)

A fantastic and humble parent to his 3 kids, Christos runs a successful high-end salon on one of Adelaide’s most salon dense roads, which is a huge achievement.

Constantly updating his skills, his goal is to share his knowledge to the next generation of hairdressers and understands that he is fortunate to be in a position where he gets to communicate with people and make them feel great on the inside and out.
