OR GOLF OR Golf Society May 2021 In between lockdowns, we managed to get one OR Golf Society Day in this year, kindly hosted by John Armstrong (Blathwayt 1979) at Verulam Golf Club in May. A good turn out from across the decades: John Armstrong (Blathwayt 1979), Marcus Baker (Mullens 1980), Jack Bownes (Mullens 2013), Adam Jones (Mullens 1977), Alex Keefe (Blathwayt 2011), James Manning (Mullens 2013), Nick Meldram (Blathwayt 2013), Ed Peters (Bristowe 1979), George Peters (Bristowe 2012), Charlie Saunders (Bristowe 2013), Jeremy Sherwood (Blathwayt 1975), Nigel Taunt (Mullens 1971) and Nic Yellowlees (Capel 1975).
Grafton Morrish October 2021 #TeamReeds started well in the Grafton Morrish two-day, match play Finals beating Canford 2-1. They went on to win against Woodbridge 2-1 but, sadly, their journey ended in the quarter finals losing 2-1 to Marlborough in the pouring rain. Thanks to a great team who gave up a weekend to represent Old Reedonians: Josh Lawson (Mullens 2012), Angus Lewis (Mullens 2014), Stuart Robinson (Capel 2002), James Davey (Bristowe 1996), Adam Lawson (Mullens 2012) and Stephen Hobson (Bristowe 2013) (in order of picture).
James Morrison (Mullens 2003) November 2021 James shot a fabulous 63 (-8) in the European Tour at Aphrodite Hills Resort, Cyprus in November 2020 and went on to have a great year, competing in a huge range of competitions, including the Omega Dubai Desert Classic, the Austrian Open and the BMW International Open. More great things to come!
