Circle of Support

Our Foundation’s core differentiation comes from the unique combination of bursaries and also, most importantly, the pastoral structure we have in place.

While every boarding school offers pastoral care, it is the holistic approach that Reed’s provides to all pupils which is different, especially for Foundation pupils to help them integrate into everyday school life and have opportunities to shine and flourish.

The ‘circle of support’ means that no child ‘falls through the net’. Every member of staff is empowered to take on a duty of care that complements the outstanding education on offer to ensure that the child’s time at Reed’s is as fulfilled as it can be.

YOUR LEGACY A GIFT WITHOUT END

Everyone wants to make their mark on the world and to have their lives remembered and celebrated; leaving a legacy to the Reed’s Foundation does exactly that in a way that will last forever.

How? Well, only the income generated from legacy donations within our Andrew Reed Foundation Fund is drawn down each year ensuring that your gift is one that lasts in perpetuity. You will continue to provide life-changing opportunities to Foundation pupils for generations to come. Making a bequest allows donors to do more than they might be able to do in their lifetime. For those with ongoing financial commitments, pledging a legacy is the ideal way to support the Foundation whilst at the same time ensuring favourable tax benefits for your family and the remainder of your estate. It is also offers a wonderful opportunity to perhaps remember a particular loved one or to give thanks for a good education received at Reed’s School.

To discuss further in confidence, please contact Sharmaine (01932 589490). Building our Andrew Reed Growth Fund is vital to the long-term viability of the Foundation. If you would like to talk – in confidence – about making a legacy pledge, please contact Sharmaine.

Everyone wants to make their mark on the world and to have their life remembered; leaving a legacy to the Reed’s Foundation does exactly that by ensuring future generations of Foundation pupils can call themselves Old Reedonians.
