WATFORD 150TH ANNIVERSARY

In 2021, as well as celebrating 75 years since the School took up residency at the Cobham site, on 20th July 20th, we also marked the 150th anniversary of the official move from Clapton to Watford of Reed’s, or rather the London Orphan Asylum, as we were known then.
A special booklet was published to commemorate the move, highlighting some of the key individuals who supported the School at this transformative time in its history.
It is thanks to their support that Reed’s remains a thriving school today with a strong charitable Foundation at its heart, whose purpose is as important now as it was when it was founded over 200 years ago.
