New Film For The Foundation
How do you bring to life the long-term impact of the Andrew Reed Foundation?

Many know, either by experience or from a vested interest, that our Reed’s Foundation offers unique bursaries that provide the care, support and education to change young lives. But what is harder and less tangible to convey is the long-term impact it has, not only on the children who receive the bursaries, but their families across generations.
So, who better to talk about that long-term impact than a former Foundation bursary recipient?
We were delighted when Shahin (School Captain in 2002) agreed to let us capture his Foundation journey on film. Shahin’s touching and inspiring account is just one from the thousands of children we have supported which so succinctly explains the transformational work we do as a Foundation.
Please take a moment to watch this moving film which can be found on the Andrew Reed Foundation website
(andrewreedfoundation.org).
Overleaf, you’ll also be able to read the charming stories of two other Old Reedonians, whose lives were impacted by the Foundation in providing those unique opportunities to their predecessors!
Call out to other former Foundation bursary recipients
We plan to make a series of Foundation films to help build awareness of the work of the Foundation, to promote the positive impact it has and to bring in new supporters. We are therefore reaching out to the wonderful OR community to ask for help.
Were you a Foundationer at the School and would you be willing to share your positive story on film, perhaps with your family involved too? By doing so, you could help give another child the chance of a life-changing education at Reed’s School?
If you would like to find out more about this opportunity, without any commitment, please email Sharmaine Matthews
